Very nice swimming pool. It was a nice temperature and was clean. Only complaint was that there isn't enough changing rooms. To have only a handful of changing rooms for a big swimming pool is not ideal especially when majority of people don't want to get dressed Infront of other people

We had a pool party booked for my Grandson's 9th birthday. Unfortunately just before we arrived someone had pooed in the pool. Due to health and safety pool cleaning takes 18 hours. The manager was very helpful and accommodating he had his staff to organise alternative activities and has offered us a free pool party slot for the future.

I have nothing bad to say about the leisure centre facilities, the gym is amazing as are the courts and swimming pool, always clean and I feel comfortable coming here. However, I had come in today with my partner asking about my membership card, which we had lost and then found again in the upstairs of the gym. We had reported it the day of losing it (yesterday), but had come back today to get it reissued as my partner had found it by going back in the gym with his membership card (we have two as we have a joint ‘couples’ account). The lady at the desk had no consideration for our situation at all, asking us how we could have lost it if we had another card (she clearly didn’t realise we had two). She treated us like we lacked common knowledge, and told us there is a charge to losing our card (which we had absolutely no issue with) and then proceeded to speak to us like children and told us she can’t keep reissuing cards if we’re going to lose them and then find them again. She then cancelled both of our membership cards despite the fact that we had only lost one, and when she realised this she became even more irate realising she now had to reissue 2 cards instead of one, through her own error. The lack of empathy she had for the situation was appalling, as we have never lost either of our membership cards up until this point and have been using the gym since January of this year. She consistently raised her tone and spoke in a sarcastic way whilst my partner and I spoke in a normal, calm and friendly tone despite the way we were being treated. After trying to explain ourselves after being constantly being talked down to and interrupted, my partner finally had enough and we gave both cards back and left. I am overall disgusted at this encounter as we have never had any issues with any of the staff before, they are lovely, friendly and always generous with their help. However, after today, we will be cancelling our memberships and putting our money elsewhere.
Overall, the gym facilities are fantastic, but if you lose your card don’t bother trying to get it reissued.

Amazing host for a fantastic new up and coming Roller Hockey Team. The Miner's. We train every Thursday night adults 9-10pm. Over 6 and youth on a Sunday 11-12. 16+ Sunday 12-1pm. Please feel free to come along and watch or join in first training sessions are on us. You will become part of a hectic team with a big heart ♥ and lots of big personalities.

A lovely leisure centre. I use the gym and the swimming pool. Both are clean with excellent facilities and friendly, helpful staff. I feel comfortable coming here, even as someone who's trying to get in shape and never feel any judgement from staff or other customers.

They dont do any maintenance in the gym unisex changing rooms , showers without curtains, toilets not working etc ... Even know the membership price went up from £29 to £35 sad very sad , ask to the stuff, they dont care , playing games on the phone is more important for them .. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a private gym, but from the council is quite bad...

Good little swimming pool which allows diving in the deep end. The water slide is the best I've been down for ages, was a right good laugh.
