Lovely day out walking around the lovely Christmas stall. Was lucky with the weather being dry & sunny. Which was ideal for sitting out to eat from the food stalls. Watched our pizza being made & the guy on the stall kindly filmed the pizza being cooked.

Visited last week and whilst it was bustling and festive it felt a little different to previous years. Perhaps it was just the weather or maybe because it wasn’t night time. It’s still enjoyable and the food is still expensive but it’s nice to browse for a few Christmas ideas.

Worth a visit and if you like Gin then your right at home (reason I knocked star off as thought too many and could of had even bigger variety of stalls)

We stayed in Winchester on Sunday night so we could visit in the evening and again on Monday morning, to combine with some Christmas shopping. The market is a little tricky to find but once we found our way, it was fantastic, with lots of stalls, a central food area and even live music from a local children's steel band. The atmosphere was very festive, especially with the backdrop of the cathedral and the beautiful lighting. I particularly liked the gluhwein🍷 and roasted chestnut 🌰 sellers. Recommended.

Lovely Christmas market, well organised and great selection of sellers. We went on a weekend and it was busy (as expected) but they do manage the numbers and won’t let too many people in, we were impressed with the organisation of it all. Sellers were all lovely and big food selection this year. Found the park and ride really easy to use too.

This place is pure magic! Free to enter, with fairly quick moving queues. Stepping into this festive wonderland feels magical right from the start. We visited the annual Christmas Market in the beautiful Winchester Cathedral grounds, there were the lovely traditional wooden chalets selling food and drink, all kinds of crafts, from knitwear, soaps, beautiful glass Christmas decorations, lots of gin! wooden gifts, leather handbags, and so much more to choose from! We were there on Monday and again on Tuesday, it was busy but not too crowded. There were also a lot of stalls along the high street selling street food and Christmascraft gifts. All in all, a wonderful 2 days spent immersed in a lovely Christmassy atmosphere. It may become an annual event for us!🎄🎅🎄

Cute and huge market place for Christmas and New year's eve. Family friendly place. Kids friendly place also.
