The trewoon post office is not just a place to go to for posting mail, returning amazon, getting money including foreign exchange. Our post office has all kinds of essential things which is why I went in last week, then get to browse the community area and see everyone's amazing skills! Plus my dog always gets the best greeting, that's my favourite bit. Couldn't be without Sally and her colleagues and the local post office.

Trewoon Post Office is a wonderful part of the village. Sally and all the work she does is integral to all of us in the village and the surrounding areas. It’s a lovely post office to stop in and pick a few items.

This little Post Office is brilliant - a very friendly place. They are very competent and efficient dealing with all sorts of transactions - Amazon returns - holding parcels, lots of banking things. Can't speak about their stamp selling because I never buy stamps! Sometimes I have a query about a banking issue and wonder if they will be able to deal with it, so I message them on Facebook, usually 'out of hours' expecting that they will deal with it when they next open. But nearly always they answer my queries out of hours!

In the 'ordinary shop' part they sell useful things you always need - like batteries, bin bags and the newly-needed biodegradable food waste bags - these are hard to find in supermarkets. Sally runs the Post Office and all her staff are friendly and helpful - I think Sally has created the atmosphere there and I've never met a 'grumpy' staff member.

Incorporated within the building they have created a Community Hub: they sell items made by craftspeople and also second hand books - all at 50p whereas most charity shops now charge double that. They sell jigsaws as well. They often post some of these sale items on facebook - I find its too daunting trying to scan ALL the books on their shelves, but when they feature a few books on facebook I've found books that I want to buy. They also have a coffee machine, tables and chairs, and such lot in a smallish space. Money raised is for local charities and community causes. I have applied for a £35K new car for the charity of ME but my application was not supported!

They often have cheap plants for sale outside the shop. Overall its a nice place to go!
