We use this hotel every 6 - 8 weeks or so when we come back to Dunmow to visit family. We have done this the last 3 plus years since we moved from Dunmow to Glastonbury, Somerset. The staff here are always friendly & helpful

Good location for the airport, if you have your own transport or have plenty of time to use the airport bus. We were planning on catching the train and this location didn't work so well with that - change of plan required. Room was very clean and warm, parking good, food good in the bar/cafe and we were asked if we'd like to take our food to our room - nice idea. Sarah (with an h - the proper spelling!) was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. When we went down for food both Karen and Sarah were efficiently manning the bar and reception again in a friendly and welcoming manner. Kudos to you both.

Stayed for one night only after a family get together. Room was clean and warm, bed very comfortable, good quality bedding. Hadn’t booked breakfast but decided to have it. Had to wait a little while for an item to be restocked but resulting breakfast very good.

Great Service, Michelle on reception was lovely. Great location for Stansted airport with free parking rather then the £20 on airport hotels charge. Usual Travelodge fare - basic accommodation at a reasonable price, perfect for an early flight

The food is absolutely great. Feat feasting delicious with very tasty scorched toastie edges and base very spicy meatballs, tasty coriander chicken skewers and good quality Olives. Not slept yet but I'm sure it will be fine. All very clean.

Perfect location for an overnight stay prior to an early flight out of Stansted. Good clean rooms, reasonable price with small fees for parking & WiFi. Friendly staff and a small but pleasant bar / cafe for an evening drink & meal at a reasonable price. Would recommend this as an excellent alternative to paying much a higher price at the airport hotels. It takes about 15 minutes to drive from this hotel to being parked at Stansted

Our stay for the one night was fine. We were attending an event and the position of the hotel was perfect. No issues with our room at all. We struggled a bit with the Wi-Fi but were helped out by reception so we’re very grateful. Breakfast was as expected but we thought some of the choices available for the evening meal were a bit odd. We had difficulty choosing something we would like. The meal however was cooked and served very well.
