TIMETOTRADE

I am writing this review as Chair of an Investment Club of 27 members that has used TimeToTrade for nearly 2 years to set-up, record and manage all the club’s finances and investment activities. I have been involved at an organisational level in several investment clubs over the past 20 years, so have a fair idea of how they operate, but am less aware of some of the more technical aspects of the stock market and TimeToTrade has been invaluable in both bridging this knowledge gap and simplifying the day to day management of my club. Firstly the TimeToTrade web portal – this has to be used first-hand to experience just how comprehensive and user friendly it is. The online software handles everything our investment club requires and much more besides – far more than I can even begin to describe here in a short review. From a club management perspective, the TimeToTrade web based service is simple to use to update the club’s monthly accounts, from which I am quickly able to generate a whole range of reports to email individual club members, who also each have their own access to full up to the minute details of their own investment via timetoTrade. Share trading is straight forward and real-time and reflects in the club’s accounts immediately. The fees charged for each transaction are competitive and by using TimeToTrade for share trading activities our club enjoys the benefits the Pro-package. Secondly, TimeToTrade is by no means a faceless service. From setting the club up originally and opening the required accounts, through to sorting out my occasional mistakes, I have consistently received prompt and personal emails from the TimeToTrade MD who has overseen and sorted matters promptly. I am happy to support TimeToTrade by writing this 5 star review with my highest recommendation.

Our investment club has recently transferred our dealing account from Selftrade to TimeToTrade. I cannot speak highly enough of the service we have received from TimeToTrade during the move. We have had a few self-inflicted issues with getting members up and running on the system. These have all been sorted out for us by the very helpful people at TimeToTrade and we are now happily installed. As the treasurer of the club I can safely say that the TimeToTrade platform is a great time saver. In the past I have had to keep a separate spreadsheet to which all the real life transactions had to be duplicated. TimeToTrade does everything for you, including calculating a real time unit price and issuing new units automatically as cash is received. Stock sales and purchases are linked in real time to the portfolio, so there is no duplication of work. Simply buy or sell and the system does the rest. Similarly I assume dividends will automatically be processed without any user input although we haven't received any yet. The various order types available on the trading screen are far superior to the old Selftrade system we used prior to this. The only slight criticism I would have is that there is not an option to buy a fixed value of stock. You can only input a quantity of stock to buy. I have checked the prices offered on the platform against Selftrade and they are identical for those I tested. The tax forms generated by the system will save a huge amount of time at the end of the tax year. It automatically calculates each member's share of the income and gains, and gives options should you wish to alter this in any way. This was an afternoon's work on our old system. Since all members have real-time access to the platform, there is very little work for me as treasurer to do compared to our old way of doing things. All in all I give them 10 out of 10 so far.

Extremely impressed with both the software and support I've received to date. Being relative new to investing I've found TTT invaluable in helping me get things done quickly. As a treasurer for a new investment club it gives me all the things i need to perform my role in the club. Looking forward to understanding more of the advanced features. Would highly recommend.
