This is an interesting tourist attraction. There were interactive activities set up on the day of our visit. The working model was also amazing. We bought some flour made in the mill. Educational and fun.

An absolutely fascinating place, highly recommended and you MUST make a good donation, it's well worth it.
As a home baker, I decided to buy a few bags of flour. The bread was excellent and very tasty but beware, the flour seems to already have a high moisture content so reduce the amount of water in the recipe you use or increase the amount of flour.

I'd be interested in what the millers think about that.

A Truly Incredible Experience... You can't get much 'greener' than this mill and its flour production. The chap in the mill, Michael, told us all about the long history of the mill and was very knowledgeable on how the whole mill functioned ... How they managed to build such a finely tuned piece of machinery all those hundreds of years ago, without precision tools, was simply amazing. We saw the wheels and cogs turning, making you realise how dangerous it must have been in the days before 'Health & Safety' !! The lady in the mill , Chrissie, was friendly and chatty. It was a wonderful experience, and would highly recommend a visit.

We walked past here a number of times, but this time went in to the working mill. It's well worth a look, they have a guide who can show you all around the mill and how it works across all the three floors. We then bought some local floor and baked bread at home. Great educational experience for kids who can even have a go at hand milling.

Great to see a working water mill! The mill itself is a historical gem, had a great tour from Mike and a lovely chat with Janet in the shop. There are lots of other arts & crafts, dining and cultural things to do too so well worth a visit!

Certainly A MUST SEE attraction when in Dorset. We loved visiting. (Family/ with teens) The working mill is super interesting and the flour is fab too. Run by dedicated and passionate volunteers. Free but we'd encourage a good donation. Anazing piece of history and local heritage. Fabulous, all the little shops, brewery and galleries. Lovely! Highly recommended. Would definitely come again.

Great place to visit in Lyme Regis. The mill was interesting and the small shop had a good variation of baking related products. The staff were very friendly and passionate about their craft. The Brewery next door is worth a visit as well as the artisan shops near by.
