I have just had the most amazing afternoon with Sarah, what a lovely lovely lady. I absolutely adore my dress and can't wait to wear it on the day.
Sarah was so patient and helpful, she knows her stock inside out and is aware of what suits which body type. I could have spent all day trying on dresses as there is so much choice and it's such a relaxing environment. Thank you so much Sarah x

After one of my family members couldn’t be more hyped about this place, I was so excited to be able to go for a wedding dress appointment and see what stock they had in. Unfortunately, my personal experience did not meet the same standard that I can see in the reviews or what I had been told about.
As I’m a bigger person who is sensitive to certain materials - I found that this proved to be a problem throughout my appointment, which only lasted no longer than 30 minutes. When I said about my skin being sensitive to materials, she questioned how I managed to get a tattoo as that must have been sore - which isn’t even relevant. When I said that I wanted a sparkly a-line dress, I was pushed to try on a minimalist dress that gives no shape to me. I was asked to pick out dresses to try on prior but then didn’t try on barely any of them dresses. I strongly felt that when I didn’t like the dress, the owner took this personally - which I didn’t intend at all. Out of the 6 dresses I tried, none of them fit properly and she made sure to emphasise that I would need a bigger dress - and then not offer anything bigger. Throughout the appointment I just felt that she didn’t really want to be there and am disappointed with my experience. I wouldn’t recommend going here if you are a bigger lady who has sensitive skin.

I had such a great experience here. Even though I initially changed my mind about the first selection, Sarah was so helpful and accommodating. I had quite a few different experiences in London boutiques, but felt the least pressured here. The seamstress Stephanie, who I worked with up until the wedding is so talented and absolutely lovely. She altered my (beaded and sequinned) dress to perfection which was no mean feat! They stock a variety of designers, modern and more traditional styles. I would highly recommend TSWDE if you want to find a beautiful dress and are on a budget.

What a great little find this was!
Sarah has a great selection of Dresses, and at a range of prices to suit all styles and budgets. She really knows her stock inside out. After showing her some ideas she pulled out lots of similar styles and also a variety that she thought I would suit. I had decided on a Dress within a few tries 🙂
Alterations were completed by Stephanie and it looked amazing. I felt a million dollars on the big day!
Thank you so much for making the whole experience enjoyable - Would highly recommend!

Such a lovely experience! Sarah was fantastic and made me and my Mum feel so welcome. I tried all the dresses I saw and liked on the website and found the perfect one for a brilliant price and took it away that day. I cannot express how lovely my appointment was and how helpful and kind Sarah and Stephanie the alterations lady have been. Would highly recommend!

I am so pleased we went to Sarah as her communication was great from booking the appointment and selecting dresses. We turned up to the lovely barn which was warm and welcoming and my choices were already out, ready to try on, as well as being able to see if there was anything else may wish to try. Sarah was lovely and put me at ease while fitting and finding the dress, which we did and could not be more pleased with the dress I found!
Stephanie the seamstress was also super lovely and helped get the dress even more perfect.
I would highly recommend The Suffolk Wedding Dress Exchange for a great experience, selection of dresses and good prices too.
