Stayed 4 nights from 18th August as part of a coach tour , the hotel is an ideal Base for touring the area , 100 yards from the Snowdon Railway Station , lakeside walks and a ruined castle to vist close by . Our room (120) was not a bad size and clean, basic but very light , it had 2 good sized windows , the bed was huge and comfortable, an extra chair in the room would have been a bonus , the bathroom was smallish but served our needs , the over the bath shower could be a problem for the less mobile . The busy restaurant was typical coach party fare , breakfast choice was good all the usual menu , full English, cereals ,tea coffee juice etc , evening meals likewise some good some not so good but no complaints . The staff at the Royal Victoria were great from reception to restaurant nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has sitting areas and a well stocked bar . All in all a really enjoyable stay and we would have no hesitation visiting again .

Brilliant from start to finish. |Lovely hotel, great location. |Nice room, everything you need in it. Staff are really polite & helpful. Food was amazing,everything you could possibly need for breakfast. |Beautiful garden is weathers nice. Great location for bottom of Snowdonia and the various little villages and main towns to visit. Couldn't fault it at all.||Coming back again with 3 of my friends to walk Snowdonia.

On this visit we had a short 3 night break, checking in on 14/07/2025. My 93 year old father was with us and it was important to make it a happy, memorable occasion. A very warm welcome was received at Reception, which is always a great first impression! Food was delicious with an excellent choice for breakfast. The lady who served our cooked breakfast was very helpful and friendly, as were all the rest of the staff. We had very comfortable rooms with good views. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and location with lots to do in the surrounding area. We’ll definitely be back yet again in the future! Many thanks to the wonderful team at The Victoria Hotel.

Easy to find, and parking was plentiful. The reception desk was very welcoming - we got there at 8.30pm and booking in was super smooth and easy.

The hotel layout is a bit higgledy-piggledy, with a labyrinth of corridors going in all directions and needing to take several lifts to get to the top floor, but the room itself was a decent size with a lovely large comfy bed (firm how i like it). The tv was pretty rubbish but you dont go to snowdonia to watch tv so that wasn't an issue! Shower was good, bath available but unused.

The bar served a decent variety and while isnt cheap isnt crazy priced. We got some bar snack bits - chicken tenders, bread and dips etc and they were pretty yummy.

We didnt eat dinner in the restaurant, but the breakfast was a little underwhelming, if still good value. The sausages tasted pretty cheap, and the hashbrowns needed cooking longer. Fruit, cereal and toast etc rounded it off and was OK.

The location is perfect, with a really short walk into Llanberis itself, and also being directly opposite the trail start and train line if you didnt want to talk.

A great hotel that couldn't be better placed for the Llanberis route up the mountain, it really is just across the road. Rooms are warm and quiet, bar is relaxed and welcoming, the restaurant did a solid fish and chips for me and the rest of my group were equally satisfied with their food. Will absolutely be back if we do the route again.

Nice and central to all the great trails and sights in the area. Room clean and tidy on arrival, cleaning team friendly and approachable. Hotel staff friendly and welcoming. Great options for food and drinks, breakfast included in the price is a great deal the variety is fantastic. Packed lunches offered for order to collect at breakfast the next day, fantastic for those going on long walks and wanting something to eat while out walking.

Super hotel for our 45th wedding anniversary. Our room had obviously been recently redecorated and the furnishing were excellent, bed comfy, hot water as soon as the tap was turned on . We had a fabulous meal in the dining room - chapeau to the chef last evening (11th). |All the staff we met were friendly, helpful and, in one particular case, very thoughtful (shout out for Sinead!).|Very well placed if you walk, cycle or climb with a drying room and cycle store.

Out side has a very nice sitting area|Communal areas of high standard with very nice decor |Ate in the dinning room unfortunately Sunday and Monday nights they only do the bar menu disappointing as it was a bank holiday weekend.||Rooms nicely decorated, good size rooms|En suits good size with some toiletries ||Breakfast good selection to choose from from|However very chaotic at breakfast |Some tables had been reserved for some guests very bad as this limited seating for the other hotel guests. I was not impressed||However I would stay here again
