Nice shop...Nice products but the staff? A lady sat behind the counter curled up in her cardigan on, busy on her phone... I was eventually served by a blonde lady and she asked the cardigan lady, who was now finding the price of tickets for some one, and the reply was "can't be bover'd" turned out a possibly 5mm pirite ammonite fossil wa 3.95 I could have lost it in my finger nail...
I can't imagine what the tourists think of this place... they maybe blinded by the beauty of the goods

Came in twice today, beautiful fossils and crystals. Spoken to the male shop owner about fossil hunting(was very successful with fossil hunting). And brought a fossil as a gift for myself

Review:
Lovely shop with a fantastic array of gemstones, fossils, decorations and jewellery. It is one of the shops I stop in every time I come back to Lyme Regis.
However, on my most recent visit we were left feeling insulted by the young server who glared at us from the moment we walked in, to when we paid for our stones and left. We are a younger couple in our early 20s, but this does not excuse looking at people like they are thieves simply for coming into the shop.
My review remains 4 stars, as other than the service on this visit I have nothing but fantastic memories of this lovely shop, and the customer service I have received on other occasions has been stellar. Note for the management, in the future if the staff are concerned about potential theft, you can monitor the public without intimidating the customers.

Good shop with interesting merchandise at reasonable prices. States it is dog friendly but I would strongly disagree. We were asked to leave because our anxious dog barked (he was barking because a child kept trying to stroke him even though we said not to). I’m sure they wouldn’t ask a mum of a baby to leave if it were crying! No problem with the above but they should NOT say they are dog friendly.

Nice shop, and a really good range of items. However, was made to feel uncomfortable having visited with my 9-year old son, being continually glared at by one member of staff. Maybe they have had issues with children before, fair enough.
But it's the sort of shop where some elements are open to being 'hands on', little bit of learning etc. Didn't need the eyes burning into us at all times...
