Great hotel and restaurant in ideal location. On site car park a great bonus in a small Devon town. Staff very helpful and informative. Railway station very close, making travel to other coastal towns and Exeter very easy. Areas for improvement would be WiFi - slowest experienced in years and restaurant prices - food was good but very expensive.

We stayed in this fabulous hotel for two nights to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary after reading the glowing reviews of it. We were not disappointed! We stayed in room 20 in the courtyard and the room was large with a lovely shower and a very comfy bed. We found all the staff helpful and efficient. You are warned that there may be residual noise from the outside seating but this ceases at 11PM. It is a very popular hotel with locals and holidaymakers filling the bar and the restaurant so find your spot early! There is a good breakfast choice too! We also ate here one of the nights and the food was very good. We drank a delicious Chenin Blanc at a very good price - much cheaper than we have seen for a long time! We enjoyed historic Topsham itself with its lovely range of shops - such a nice change to see independent shops all busy unlike some High Streets. We will definitely be back as this was good base to visit other places in East Devon. Would highly recommend!

Lovely, spacious bathroom and room. Very clean and comfortable. |Great location, close to the estuary. |Staff were very nice and helpful. |WiFi wasn’t great but that’s pretty standard in hotels I find. |Very good value.|I didn’t eat there because I went for a walk on the estuary and got a sandwich from the coop (very close by). Menu looked good though and the bar/outdoor seating areas looked good.

Fantastic quality, in a great location and very good value for money.
Stayed twice now and the rooms are well appointed and the food is good quality.
Little thinks like quality coffee brands, sauces, shampoos all make for a brilliant experience, especially at the price.
Staff were great too, in particularly Hoanne the hard working breakfast host was great.
Thanks, we”ll be back.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Room was on the ground floor in the courtyard. It was very spacious and the bathroom had a walk in shower. The selection of teas, coffee and biscuits was excellent and all were restocked daily. The food we ate at the hotel was of a high standard and extremely delicious - especially the roast beef which was so tender you could have cut it with a fork. We loved our stay and will definitely return as we not only loved the hotel but also Topsham.

We have stayed at the Globe Topsham, a few times now and it never disappoints. Bed very comfy. Room large and lovely, clean and well maintained. Lovely pub, great food. Wonderful staff. Will return again next year. Topsham has it all and The globe is perfect to stay.

Hotel in a good location in the centre of beautiful Topsham. Long stay parking nearby not a problem.|Staff were welcoming and food good though, having booked in advance, it would have been nice to be in the main dining room, not a room at the back which was a bit soulless.|Unfortunately, our room was apparently awaiting completion of refurbishment and the stains and paint marks on the carpet were disappointing although the room and bathroom were clean and the bed comfortable.

I love visiting The Globe for food at any time of day. The interior is beautiful and nicely decorated. The staff are friendly and provide an efficient, professional service. I recently booked and visited for fathers day, and they were aware of me by name on arrival. The food was delicious and we have a great time. Will be returning regularly.
