It was an absolute disappointment. Despite having a reservation, we waited for ages before being assigned a lane. The staff were unhelpful, lacking basic empathy and offering no sense of urgency to resolve issues.

When we finally got our slot, the bowling machine was defective. It took the staff another eternity to provide a solution, leaving us frustrated. To make matters worse, we had a 6-year-old child with us who couldn’t have her lunch on time because of the delays caused by their poor management.

The entire experience was disorganized, stressful, and far from enjoyable. I expected much better service, especially on a busy day when you’d think they’d be prepared. I’ll never return, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I recently visited Tenpin Swindon and had a fantastic experience. The venue boasts an impressive 32 bowling lanes, ensuring ample space even during peak times. The fully licensed bar and hot food options added to the enjoyment, and the diverse arcade games provided entertainment beyond bowling.

A standout aspect of my visit was the exceptional service from the staff. In particular, one team member, affectionately nicknamed "the legend with the Harry Potter glasses," went above and beyond to ensure our group had a memorable time. Their friendly demeanor and attention to detail truly enhanced our experience.

Overall, Tenpin Swindon offers a comprehensive entertainment package suitable for all ages. Whether you're aiming for a strike, enjoying a meal, or exploring the arcade, this venue has something for everyone. Highly recommended for a fun-filled day out.

Very pleasant day, Tuesday is discount day, so it's almost 50% off. Very good. I'll be back soon

UPDATED After looking at all these poor reviews it looks like their standard response is the whole “sorry you did not get 5* etc please email us”. Absolute joke. Copied and pasted management replies. This is why this place is so bad.

Not sure if I would come back here again. Came here tonight for bowling with my partner. Very easy to book online so that wasn’t an issue. 2 games £31, bit pricey for what it is inside. We got drinks when we arrived and were waiting at the bar for ages. 3 guys behind bar being incredibly slow. Finally got drinks. Then queued to check in for lanes. Again, 2 people on, very slow. Bowling wasn’t an issue. Scanned the QR code in our lane to order some food. 30 mins later. I went to ask about it, was told it would be 5 minutes. For info, it was a bowl of nachos. 40 minutes later, nothing. Asked for a refund. Manager couldn’t find the transaction but did give me a cash refund. The arcades area was an absolute mess. Rubbish all over the floor, glasses on the game tops and floors from the bar (health and safety hazard). The netball games only had 2 balls in instead of 6, some of the machines broken. All in all, would not recommend this place and won’t be coming back unfortunately.

Great fun. Good for children too. You can wear your own shoes (enclosed and flat). Not a cheap activity but we had such fun.

Fun place, though might try a Sunday next time as it might be a bit quieter than the Saturday evening we actually visited.

Tenpin looked completely different to our last visit. It was amazing!
Newer, cleaner, and much lighter.
Large, well lit, functional disabled toilet, with a baby change table too.
I think 34 bowling lanes.
New seating and bar, serving a wide selection of drinks. We enjoyed the no sugar slushy.
The toilets were clean, and the ladies had plenty of cubicles, one including a baby change.
Bowling was great, and we did not encounter any problems whilst playing.
Will visit more frequently now it has been improved.

Visited for a birthday party, which they only hold on Sunday mornings. Very busy, crowded and noisy, with extra noise generated from interior renovations going on during the day. Not ideal for those who have sensory issues.
Ladies toilets still open. Mens and disabled toilets are 3 portaloos outside.
Food served - pizza was thin with a lovely thin crispy base but too much tomato sauce so toppings just slid off. Chips were very mediocre.
Staff were rushed off their feet but were friendly.
It would be so much better with clear signage on how long the renovations intend to take so patrons know what to expect.

Weekday visit during the Summer hols was surprisingly quiet. We arrived earlier than our booking and were given our lane straight away. Drinks ordered via the app arrived quickly. The pre-ordered pizza arrived during the second game. Pizza had a lovely crispy base and perfect amount of toppings (no sliding off this time!). As before, staff were approachable and friendly. It is also noted that they offer accessible bowling (see photo) so extra marks there!
