I visited Tenpin Swansea this evening with my family, I’ve been here several other times where i’ve had similar experiences to today but today was the stick that broke the camels back. The entire place was filthy. Rubbish scattered everywhere, sticky floors, and tables piled high with leftover food and dirty glasses that no one had bothered to clear. It was obvious that cleaning just isn’t a priority here. There’s no excuse for this as I witnessed staff chattering time and time again. The bar staff were shockingly rude and dismissive, when they weren’t too busy chatting amongst themselves to bother serving customers. It felt like they genuinely didn’t care whether anyone was having a good experience or not. The only saving grace was the food. It came out quickly, and the waitress who brought it over was sweet, polite, had time for us and most importantly clearly trying her best. Sadly, the rest of the staff could learn a lot from her, because the service elsewhere was atrocious. At least smile for crying out loud! A disgusting, poorly run venue that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Spend your money somewhere that actually values cleanliness and customer service. I’m upset with myself that I didn’t take photos because it’s unbelievable how a business that’s operating this way is still open. appalling.

Really good experience! Recently upgraded the deco and with new machines.
Really good fast service at 12pm and not to busy during mid week.
Add a picture to the scoreboard, easy score card automatically updates.

Tenpin Swansea is a fantastic improvement! I'd visited a few months back and wasn't overly impressed, but they've clearly renovated, and it's now a wonderful place for a fun evening out. We visited on a Friday and it was jam-packed, so we had to wait about 45 minutes for a lane, but it was absolutely worth it. The facilities are great, the atmosphere was buzzing, and the place looks so much better after the renovation. Despite being busy, everything was well-maintained and the staff were efficient.

Our regular bowling place, great experience with reasonable price every time we go. We didn't try the arcade area too much but seems many new machines were added after refurbishment which is quite nice. Some machine's ticket slot could be empty or jammed during the busy time but staffs there are always very helpful.

We arrived on time and there was nobody at the reception desk, so we waited a while to be seen to. Once they arrived the staff were friendly and helpful.
We ordered food and drinks on the website, but there was no activity at the bar/kitchen for over 30 minutes. I had to chase it up and waited another 25 minutes to be served our food, unfortunately we had almost finished bowling by this time.
Apart from the wait I found the bowling and food to be reasonable value.

Food quality isnt the best.
It was better before the refurb. Too much going on at 1 till, poor service. Waited too long for food, sent pizza back with no cheese, later it returned burnt and smelling of plastic and served with attitude.

Paid £5 per person for 1 game of bowling, which is very affordable for a nicely done up bowling alley. There’s a very lively atmosphere here when we visited, even when it was a Monday evening. The lanes are split by plexi-glass, and your section comes with a large sofa, a little table for food and drink, and shared bowling balls. You can customise the background of your score card by taking photos of your party all together, and individual head shots when it’s your turn which adds an element of fun. The parking is free for 2 hours in the large car park, but if you’re likely to be longer, you can enter your registration plate and the reception for free parking. The bowling alley has a well stocked bar with food options, an arcade with lots of games. There were two games which was broken at the time of visit (piano tiles and a duck game), and only one of the slots were working on the machine that counts your tickets that you win on games. Staff were friendly! There are other activities you can do here too like an escape room and karaoke, all at an additional cost, of course. Overall, a very good visit.
