Had a smooth and great experience with Sterling FX. I’ve compared the JPN Yen rates to other companies, and they offer closer to the actual rate than others.

I picked up at their branch and the guy working at the counter (28/10/24 ~16:15pm) handled everything with professionalism. Very quick service with less than 5 minutes to pick up to money.

I’ll definitely use this company again.

This was my first experience of ordering currency on line. Sterling FX gave a very good exchange rate so I ordered from them. The whole process was easy and quick. I got relevant up-dates as the order was processed and sent out. From order to receiving the currency it was a week but could have been quicker if I had requested a different delivery date. I would definitely use them again.

Really positive experience with them! It was easy to use online, and I got the order processed and received it in a timely manner. I wanted to exchange a few notes because the country I was travelling to were a bit finicky about accepting worn notes. I received a call and was able to go in person and exchange the notes with no issues! Based on my experience I do highly recommend them!

One of the best exchange rates in Central London.
Customer service was on point, well mannered and a swift transaction.

The process was made quicker by signing upto their online platform and they did need a copy of my passport.

Note: The kiosk is at the back of an estate agents.

Very reasonable rate, probably the best in London - but not sure if it’s worth the unreliable service on balance.

I sent a bank transfer via the website, but received no email confirmation of my order or proof of purchase until the next day.

To try and look into this, I was on the phone for 2 hours before the phone line shut on me. I also tried to contact via email but received nothing. I can understand if there were technical difficulties, but would have appreciated more prompt communication - these kind of purchases can be worrying if the communication isn’t right.

FYI - if you’re travelling to South America, make sure to request that notes are fresh or in pristine condition.

This is a very reliable company. I've used them twice for travel currency, once for Japanese yen and once for Euro. I ordered on their website, and transferred money from my bank (via online banking). You can probably use debit card for payment, but there's a fee for that, sending the money via bank transfer is free of charge.They're efficient in terms of confirming orders and processing delivery. They sent the money quickly via Special delivery, and I was able to receive the travel currency in time for my trips. I would recommend this company.

Absolutely cannot fault this company in the slightest. Exchange rate was clear as day and the money was delivered within 2 working days with full tracking included in the price. Very happy and would most definitely use again!
