Great local shop. Well stocked and a lot of the items are cheaper than Supermarket prices. And there are unique things to buy that you cannot get elsewhere in the area

The staff are friendly and polite. I am not sure what is going on with the negative reviews. The bad reviews are probably from the minority of bad holiday makers who 'comfort weekend' ....swearing and whinging that there is no food for their pet kestrel or no offal pies and John Smiths 'for baby Armani'. The same bunch that drop rubbish all over the village and wear fleeces with pictures of dogs on them from Skirlington Market.

What a difference a few months can make !! This shop has gone from a unwelcoming place to the totally opposite since the new owner has taken over !! Every time you go in the shop you are greeted with a warm welcome and they are so helpful. They provide a pick up service for prescriptions from the local doctors which really is a godsend !! There is a large selection of goods and the frozen curry section is really popular !! Thank you Parth ,Pryia and Becky for great service and smiles ☺️

Fantastic shop and post office ! Great selection of products competitively priced . I especially like the range of hot and cold lunch items . The curries are also fab !!

First class service. Prescription delivered to pick up. Staff are amazing. Currys in the freezer are fab and indian. Would recommend this shop to all who go in. Parth and pryai are amazing such laugh and giggle so polite would try to accommodate you in every way good luck guys you deserve it xxx

Always loved Skipsea shop… old and present owners .. but must say parth.. preya and Becky are 10/10 really go out of their way to make sure you’ve got everything you need .. always so welcoming and amazing with my children.. they’ve really taken note of what the village has asked for and done much needed changes .. keep doing the amazing work guys

Excellent service. Becky runs the post office and shop single handed. Helpful and friendly and professional. The shop has bakery and sandwiches to Groceries, Coal to logs, New papers and a great magazine Choice. From locals to visters a Pleasant place to shop. Many thanks, Paul.
