Cute!!!
The stalls, people, vibe - perfect. Go if you're in the area!
Special mention to the lady who runs the cookware stall - bought some cute bits and asked her about food. Straight away she emphatically told me to try the Thai place. I went straight there and it was amazing and so cheap!!! The bookstore on the top floor is quaint and a really lovely woman runs it. She showed me an amazing 2nd edition copy of Lord of the rings. Overall, charming, friendly, good food, great stalls. 👍

Excellent indoor market, lifts to food hall and balcony level as well as stairs. Several good butchers, super fruit and veg. Multiple food outlets of different cuisines as well as two traditional cafes for breakfast etc.Vinyl records, bric a brac, wine bar, gin bar etc. Closes at 4pm but several times a year they have late opening special events.Albrecht liked his breakfast.

I've visited the market on many occasions when visiting Shrewsbury. I also actively make an effort to go when showing friends around the town.
On the lower floor is everything you could want from a market; fruit and veg, butchers, homewares and a plastic free store to name but a few. On the upper level is a range of crafts people, books, vintage goods and wine bars. Amongst all this is a really good selection of street food and cafes. The atmosphere is amazing and shows what a vibrant market can truly be like.

There are lifts and toilets within the market. It can get very busy due to its popularity, so be prepared for the crowds. But hopefully for most this adds to the buzz of a venue that is certainly going from strength to strength.

Forget the usual bland high street, this is a must when in Shrewsbury.

Great market hall, lots of interesting stuff to buy, all the usual cake and fruit and veg. And there's an ace secondhand book shop with a really good selection of books that you just won't find anywhere else!
