Farmers market has a vast array of goods. It's nice to wander the grounds and see the hall. For a small fee you can visit the larger gardens. Worth a visit to the market and support local.

We went last Sat 2nd March. It was fabulous. So many stalls with top quality food.Superb selection on the mushroom stall and yes I could have eaten all the pies.Lovely cafe with such polite and friendly staff.

My 1st time of visiting a farmers market. I enjoyed this visit and it's variety of plentiful produce. It's not fully ideal for disabled access because some aspects are on individual floors and require steps to be negotiated which cannot be done alone, I suppose after all it is a farmyard. The market traders are helpful in fully describing their produce and can easily tempt you into purchasing their product by description and presentation which I personally like. And finally, if you are lucky, you might meet a charming lovely lady who's good deed of the day was to pay for my cups of T when I discovered that the kiosk only took cash which I lacked in sufficient quantity. Other than that all traders take card and contact less as well as cash.
Access to the market is by car, bicycle or shank's pony down a long drive. Although there is plentiful parking it is a first come served, meaning one could end up parking away from the immediate vicinity of the market making it a pain if the weather is wet and you have kids in tow. Overall though, it's well worth a visit.

We hadn’t visited for quite sometime so decided to visit this weekend (06:08:22) We were really disappointed as there is clearly a wasp nest in the area of the stalls, all the stalls selling food and especially cakes had a problem with wasps, some had plastic covering over but they were still getting underneath. One particular bread and pastries stall literally had large swarms of wasps all over the pastries so much so that you couldn’t approach the stall, as we walked away the stall holder actually left his stall it was so bad. We only stayed about half an hour. Most of the food stalls were not covered at all so there were flies and wasps all over the food. There were a few that had proper dome covers. Poor experience I don’t think we will visit again.

Lots of different stalls from independent small businesses. Not always the cheapest, but usually exceptional quality. Well worth a visit - usually the first Saturday in each month

Loads of parking for a quid.
Lots of stalls with fresh produce, crafts, baked goods and more. Lots to see, taste, buy and enjoy.
