Went into the Manchester branch to have my beautiful 2ct diamond ring valued for the purpose of selling it as I no longer wear it. I also took it to a well known jewellers on Market Street. They offered £5750.
I then went into Ramsdens pawnbrokers in St Anns Square. An assistant called Leanne who greeted me but seemed very disinterested in my ring and her attitude and manner was very unprofessional.
She took my ring into the office and returned ten minutes later and offered £2K. I commented how insulted I felt. Having purchased a Rolex watch from the same shop a few months ago she also issued the incorrect paperwork she then demanded I return to the shop with the incorrect paperwork even though it was her mistake.
She was incredibly rude and put the telephone down on me. Clearly they don’t value their customers. I would not recommend this shop after the poor customer service I was given.

Recent events from the lockdown and personal impact of that approach (I'll keep my thoughts on all that to myself). As this review is about Ramsdens in Manchester. Forced me to take some measures I had not experienced before and I am glad I chose to use Ramsdens service. Their customer service made it easy, clear and straight discussion. Polite, helpful the portal set up easy and again on hand to support. A difficult thing for me was made easier and trust quickly built by their staff and professionalism. thank you

I was offered £480 for a gold chain which I knew was a low quote I walked to another jewellery shop a few minutes away and was offered £575 for the same item , I would not recommend this place to anyone.

They offered me £498 for 1 oz gold coin and trying cheating me that price. I have seen them gold necklace and bracelets at window they are top end prices. So be careful they try con you
