This shop always has about a 60% due date or out of date stick - BE CAREFUL! Today (2 Feb 2025) the fresh dinner pizza in the fridge is out of date……£4.25 and some mug won’t check it and they will sell it. The bistro granules I bought today (stupid me I should have checked knowing what a bunch of cowboys they are for the dates on their goods) go out of date in a few weeks - that means they’ve already been sat there over a year as they have such a long shelf life. CHECK CHECK CHECK ALL THE DATES IN WHATEVER YOU BUY HERE. I only use this shop when I have no alternative because of this. Staff are always friendly though, so that’s nice 👍🏼🙂

Poor fruit and veg selection, dodgy frozen food, expensive, annoying lack of displayed pricing, £5 minimum card spend, charge to use cash machine. Extremely miserable brunette staff member. Worst of all it plays a large part in the cause of a few late night issues that plague the village namely with it being a 24hr shop the nuisance teenage gang that blight the area are attracted to the shop like flies to the proverbial being anti social and vandalising to and from at all hours, and the late night often loud traffic visiting the shop.

I only shop hear if desperate it's over priced and owners very greedy if you want buy 1 thing and pay by card erm no minimum spend 5£ so it's not convenient if your on a budget!

Has a good variety of stock and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately it is let down by the £5 minimum card payment, though the Post Office inside does allow for free cash withdrawals.

Subway and Post Office counters are great, very convenient. Main shop is a bit dingy, trying to cram too much into a tight space, prices not that competitive. Staff are OK but always look miserable, not the quickest reactions to queues. Not the best service in the world, but I've experienced worse elsewhere.

Had to go there this morning for milk , wanted some blueberries but they were mouldy so just bought 2 pt carton of skimmed milk and some cereal , milk was dated 27th Aug and it was the 24th, got to work and milk was off , wont go back, you dont know what your buying is it fresh or not urgh!

I go in this shop everyday and one of the staff is rude never speaks and never smiles. I say please and thank you and don't get any response. I feel mistreated and I think she needs to go and learn her customer service again.

This shop is amazing it's always had what I need and the owner did not rip people off by hiking up the prices yes there was a slight increase in some items but overall it is still a brilliant shop
