Lovely little museum detailing much of Polperro's history.
An excellent set of old photographs with written explanations.
£5 entrance charge for all except children you are admitted free of charge.
Photos alone make this a worthwhile expert.
Highly recommended.

Probably the only museum in this area, a ticket at this time cost 6 pounds. We are for supporting business in a small town. I recommend it to anyone interested in the history of Looe.

Great little museum full of history. Worth spending £4. I would recommend this museum. If you go to the upper deck be prepared as it was very hot even with the fans running

A fantastic little museum packed with information about Polperro's rich heritage, including smuggling, crafting, and the fishing industry. The museum offers a lot within a small space, which might be overwhelming for young children who may not have the patience for reading extensive text. However, I found it all very insightful and definitely worth a visit.

Small little place but packed to the rafters.. it opens Cornish time Dreckly and I love that, not everything is on the button here and that's ok. Tons of pictures and information relating to the history of the pirates just trying to make a living and the government which hounded them all down for tax purposes it really didn't feel like history when you look at the world today only we don't have boats and the craftsmen of their day were amazing the boat I pictured took 14 months to complete and I'm talking the full size one. We couldn't tarmac a pothole in that time nowadays.
