This place is so amazing for treasures but try to get here by 8 so you don’t miss the deals. Hardcore buyers come at 7am set up!

You can park on the motorway where all the cars line up for free but be very careful. Then you walk about 300m to the bootable. Otherwise drive past it and turn left into the fields and pay £2 for parking. The entrance to the sale is free of course and there’s teas coffee sandwiches etc being sold as well as fresh eggs and flowers.

I’ve never been to a car boot quite like this. Buyers and sellers openly smoking weed throughout the site — completely unacceptable, especially with children around. Staff were present but did nothing, which only added to the unpleasant atmosphere.

At the gate, I also had issues with a marshal whose poor English caused confusion. Asking the same simple question several times got me nowhere, which was frustrating.

We made the effort to arrive early, expecting buyers wouldn’t be allowed in before the advertised start time — but by 6:30 the place was already full. So much for being at the front of the queue.

In terms of value, most stalls seemed to be pricing at or near RRP, which defeats the point of a car boot. Anything worth buying was immediately scooped up by the unemployed who sell on ebay and vinted etc.

The only positive I can mention is that the parking was fine. Beyond that, I found the whole experience disappointing and won’t be returning.

For foodies there's a choice of hot food traditional burgers, sausage, eggs, chips etc or if you want to be adventurous there is a Thai food stall selling green curry, massamam curry, sweet & sour, rice, vegetable noodles, pad Thai, BBQ pork, chicken satay, spring rolls, samosas & pawns on toast.
You will also find a vendor selling coffee & teas.
There is an ice cream van, a dough nut stall and a fruit seller (great prices) occasionally you will find a stall selling feta cheese & olives, a vendor selling Polish cured meats.
Next to the fruit van is a stall selling various bakery items.

Huge, diverse, trading and social gathering. Fun family thing to do on a Sunday morning ..whether you are looking for something specific or just happen to find something that intrigues you. Do barter, it adds to the fun and interaction. There is food & drink available. It has toilets😀...but they are rank 🤮(the men's anyway). Be prepared to spend at least 2 hrs there...and save £2 coin for the buyers "exit fee"(I've no idea on sellers fees).

Not what it used to be. The region needs a proper farmers market, not a pile of old electronics, vapes and clothes. This farm would be the perfect venue. Hoping the owners see this and consider it.

Dangerous to enter and exit onto what's pretty much a motorway with no slip road.

People parking in lay-bys and walking along the road makes this crazy, they should be banned from parking along the A3.
