Well worth a visit if your into antiques and collectibles. Some of the garden salvage items are stunning and very competitively priced compared to other similar places.

I'd just come out of hospital and needed to raise some cash, a man called " john" if that was his real name came to look at my limited edition clarice cliff collection, he told me it was worth practically nothing for 54 pieces including 7 tea sets stating " nobody buys it, the young aren't interested , and the old already have it". He gave me about 10% of the value of my collection to be " fair" he is now selling it on Ebay for full price!!!! I'm sure he goes round ripping off old ladies aswell. To make matters worse he took a item that a dear belated friend without permission when I realised what he'd done I was distraught. I had to phone and beg to get it back. Please if you have any conscious DO NOT BUY and definitely do not sell to this man. I don't know how he sleeps at night!!!!

I bought 2 back wash units from the new platinum range. When delivered we had to help off loading them as there was only 1 man to get these massive units off his lorry. They look great and the quality is great but as for been practical they are not. To start with the basin would not tilt forward enough so clients could not get there heads no where near the basins, I called customer services to be told the plastic cover which hides the brackets could be stopping the tilt! So I was sent 2 rubber ones which we had to dismantle the units, take off the tilt unit and put back together, this didn't do anything. I called again to be told there's a nut that can be loosened to help the tilt, I wasn't happy at all as we had just put them together again, we did this and it did work but because of the design and cushioning to the back I am still having bother getting clients who aren't 5ft5 and taller to fit their heads into the basin, I have resorted to a boaster cushion which in all my 35yrs in hairdressing have never know anything like this. One last thing I took a picture of the leather which was creasing up after 1 week of use, I am still waiting for a response! Disappointing from start to finish. Valencia Salon, Gosforth.

This is my favourite Salon Equipment one stop shop. They have all the top brands and their customer service is second to none.
I have contacted Imogen at S.E.C and asked her for Takara Belmont barber chairs. She gave me all the information required, with a lot of patience!
And also helped me design a waiting area custom to my shop from R.E.M.
Once I knew what I was buying, she gave me a price which couldn't be matched!
I am so happy to have my Salon kitted out with the best gear. And the journey to find my equipment was very pleasant.
Would recommend no other than S.E.C! Very personal service to a high standard!

Great staff who are always friendly and helpful and a very wide range of products. I am a photographer and I bought the Legion Barbers chair for photo shoots which is brilliant. And I have found and bought several chairs and interesting items since. There is always something different and interesting in the shop, and I rarely leave empty handed. Highly recommended and always worth a visit.

I bought a hairdressing chair and back-wash unit having only seen online, with prices being so reasonable I was dubious about the quality. But having now recieved and worked with the items the quality is very high and they look wonderful. Speedy smooth delivery on my chosen date, even though I'm miles away in Southampton. Would definitely recommend for quality furniture and affordable pricing.
