Lostwithiel Station seems to be in the valley of the river Fowey (rhymes with Joy). In fact a
rail bridge a few seconds after departure west reveals the river is quite substantial at this point in its course to the sea.

Nice little station. Plenty of boards and places to get information. Tickets sold on the trains so there is no ticket office. Village is 5 mins stroll away.
