Large airy established quality antique & vintage centre selling many larger pieces that you don't tend to find elsewhere.
Many large paintings and bedsteads for sale along with dining tables and an assortment of smaller typical antique and vintage paraphernalia such as Steiff bears and telephones.

Friendly staff offering helpful wrapping services.

I would say the items for sale are largely more considered purchases here than inexpensive.

Nicely organised shop. A good selection .. but goodness is it all overpriced. You’re just looking at a sea of dead money. Everything, particularly chests of drawers, is marked up by hundreds and hundreds. I personally just found it a bit depressing to see such a lot of money being added to items that were clearly never bought anywhere near their asking price. Lower prices will equal more sales. Personally, the shop just zapped the fun out of buying.

Great Antiques centre. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Items beautifully displayed and lovely quality, not junk. Good mix of furniture from Georgian to Mid-Century Modern including some beautiful beds. Lots of ceramics and glass too. I was ‘just browsing’ and bought four things. Oops. Lovely things.

lovely old antique centre with personal service.
we had been looking for some quality leather armchairs for our new olde house & found them here.
Nothing was to much trouble, help given with loading into our car, extra bubble wrap for protection
Lovely friendly couple helped with our purchase.
There are some stunning beds here, lovingly restored, so we will certainly come back to choose one when we are ready . O & the oriental rugs !!

With regret of writing this review…
The old guy that was behind the counter slagging off the French and being outrageously vile was not how I wanted my French mother in law to spend the day..

Knowing full well she was foreign as she wished them “afternoon”
Absolutely disgusting disregard for her feelings and seems they wanted her to hear what was being said due to the volume of the conversation…!!

Shall not be visiting this shop again and definitely warn others what ever nationality you are to keep clear

Not very welcoming. Leave your bags with them,don't touch things,and even then you will be eyeballed as if at any moment you might just consider trousering a Victorian bed . Go to the other antique center, something for everyone with a much more relaxed experience all round.

Disappointing service. Soon as you walk through the door they jump on you and ask to have your shopping bags. Horrible customer service, to make your customers feel watched and judged soon as they walk in. What an old fashioned, stuck up way too look at life. Rude. The other antiques down the road are friendly and welcoming. No wonder they are busy and this place was dead. Will never return.
