I can not recommend Kind Wealth Ltd enough and in particular David Huntbach.

I was retiring early and had a specific requirement to review a couple of pensions, one being a final salary one. I was looking for some advice to find the best solution for my circumstances and someone to give fair honest advice. I came across Kind Wealth more by accident after ringing a local financial advisor who said there was very few companies that would help or advise on my kind of pension but highly recommended David. I did my research and checked them out but was unsure what to expect or what they could do.

David came to see me and took his time to gather all my relevant information and financial situation and then over time provided me with a number of options. He made sure these were clearly described and gave me plenty of time to consider all my options. At no point feeling pressured to make a decision.

However it was relatively easy as the options that were provided me a much better financial arrangement if I had just gone along with the offer from my current providers.

The whole experience has been professional, friendly, informative and at all times I was able to ask the ‘daft question’ which was really important for me as I was unskilled in this area and needed to trust the person/company I chose.

I’m sure based upon my experience Kind Wealth could help many in a similar situation of not knowing what options are available to someone retiring and to not just accept what’s on offer from your provider.

I first met Dave Huntbatch last year as my partner had used Dave to transfer his pension out of a final salary pension and he was more than happy with Dave.
After my first meeting I was very reassured by Dave and his knowledge, I was working part time at the time and was looking to retire soon to join my partner, I had a reasonable amount in a final salary pension from a previous employer which I wanted to transfer out to invest which would let me retire soon and I had a local government pension with my current employer,after my meeting with Dave I listened to his advice and he suggested to transfer all my money out of my final salary pension, he then suggested we could invest a portion of it away as it’s a long term investment and then with the rest I could buy a guaranteed annuity which basically matched my current wages until I’m 67 when I then receive my state pension, he recommended I leave my current local government pension alone and take a guaranteed pension from that age 67 for the rest of my life
I followed all of Dave’s advice, he’s very knowledgeable and I’m so glad I did, I’ve been able to retire at 56 years old and got a guaranteed income until I’m 67 which matches my wage, I couldn’t have done this without Dave, me and my partner have recommended Dave to friends and work colleagues and everyone is more than happy with him, he makes you feel comfortable, no pressure applied and he’s available for advice if needed.

We were first time buyers looking for a mortgage, and wanted to get the best rate. Kind Wealth were offering a discount through my company, but I would recommend using them anyway as they were brilliant, so responsive and clear and all the advice was detailed. We got a good rate on our mortgage, everything was transparent. They found us insurance but made it clear it was from their panel and we were free to go with something else if cheaper. 10/10 experience.

I had a small pot pension that had all the GAR attachments and was over £30k so needed to go via a financial advisor. I had been messed around previously by another company so was very apprehensive and contacted Kind Wealth and spoke with David. From the very first call I felt that this was going to be a good experience and boy was I right. I explained my pension circumstances and what my end goal was in terms of wanting to close it down and cash it all in.

From the get go David was reassuring and said that that should not be a problem and just needed to do all the required checks. Through every step of this process from cradle to grave I cannot fault David in his care and understanding when dealing with me. If I had a question, he was able to be contacted and always got back to me quickly. He explained all the steps gave timelines for these and spoke to me in none industry jargon which helped me understand what was going on.

If you have got this far then trust me go with them, if I ever have to go back down this path they will always be my first choice.
