I’ve just heard on social media about how John Lewis is offering chest binders for children and hopefully women/ teens who are struggling with their gender. I know a teenager who is desperate for this item . I would like to commend you for this action.
This is a bold action . People who are against this are very small minded. This will do a huge amount for mental health of these struggling to feel themselves.

Purchased an Apple 2024 MacBook Air today. The level of service shown to myself and my daughter was exceptional. Emma, the technology floor manager was truly amazing. Emma was both informative and provided perfect customer service. Thank you.

Avenues 2.

Came here for lunch while visiting the shops on my way through between holiday venues. The food was lovely, although it took a long time for it to arrive.

Dropped my wife off at the rear of the store. Stopped my vehicle for 1 minute (sat it vehicle with brake lights on and engine running), then parking firm (due to claimed correspondence going missing) ended up fining me £170!!!! Will now avoid John Lewis because of this. Of course parking firm are uncontactable in any way.

After standing in the queue for 3/4 hr at the John Lewis Exeter to buy a simple bacon or sausage sandwich, arriving in plenty of time on their imposed time of 12 noon. I stood there watching the kitchen staff meander around not one breaking a sweat while the queue increased in size! I arrived at the counter 5 mins before noon and watched 3! People serve one man! All 3 answer the same question about sprinkles on his hot chocolate! The young woman took so long to place a piece of cake on a plate I just couldn’t believe that she could go any slower! By the time 1 of the 3 turned to me to take my order I was told I was 4mins too late! I asked them to check with the kitchen and I was told no! Noon is noon regardless of having to wait for 3/4 hr, and that I was at the counter in time! I noticed the ‘kindness sign’ and said to the member of staff I’d like to draw your attention to your sign only to have the response ‘that’s for the staff only!’ It doesn’t apply to you the customer! The one paying their wages!

I am appalled at John Lewis and the complete lack of any type of management or indeed any eagerness to give any half decent service!

I will not be rushing anytime soon to spend any money at John Lewis !

This is a somewhat smaller store than I was used to. However, the staff were working to the usual high standard and were very friendly and professional.
The store is very clean and tidy, and it has a good stock level.
The restaurant on the top floor was incredibly busy, a monument to the standard of food being served. However, it did feel something of a crush.
I managed to find the aftershave that I was looking for, and I'm tempted by a new suit.
