Been coming Duxford for around 35 years, always loved coming here, not been for a long while as moved a fair distance away.

Visited on a Wednesday, was pretty quiet really, few school parties but not packed out, can't fault any of the staff I met, love the museum but I have one complaint... everything is too squashed in, especially in the USAF museum part, can't get good photos, would've been 5 stars apart from that.

Well worth a visit though, such a range of planes from early commercials to heavy military and everything in between, the World War 2 selection of planes is seriously impressive.

Fantastic place to visit. Such a great selection of amazing planes displayed so beautifully. Really interesting and some really iconic planes - Concorde, SR-71, U2, Vulcan Bomber, Lancaster, Lightening, Tornado were my highlights. Would 100% recommend

The Imperial War Museum in Duxford is an amazing place for fans of historic aviation. There is lots to see, from airplanes from World War I to modern fighter jets. There is even a little exhibition about ground warfare at the far end of the airfield. There is a large hangar full of British aircraft, and a hangar for American ones. The staff is always helpful and offers a lot of insight into the history of every aircraft. If you have the chance, I also recommend the Lancaster tour, in which you can learn a lot about its history in WW2, and you can even take a peek inside of the legendary bomber.

Great place to go if you love Military history or are a big aviation fan. There's loads of cool stuff on display here and there is a good gift shop. I was lucky enough to go to see the Spitfires Through the Years exhibition while it was there. some particular favourites of mine are also the Avro Lancaster, Concorde test model, and the A10 Thunderbolt.

The best airplane museum I've ever been to. Incredibly large, with predominantly indoor viewings. Has really unique aircraft like the Concorde, Vulcan, SR71, B52, A10 as well as many many more. The museum stretches about a 10minute walk from the furthest hangars. The workers are all incredibly helpful and there are shuttle buses for when it rains. There is also a restaurant on site. Would highly reccomend.

What a fantastic place! The exhibits are fantastic and the place is huge; I’d recommend getting there early as a there’s a lot of walking and a whole lot to see (there’s a free minibus if you can’t manage the longer walks). I arrived mid afternoon and whilst I managed to see everything I wanted to, it was a bit of a rushed visit but that’s down to my own poor planning!
