1st visit - told me that their systems didn’t recognise the modern Jordanian currency I brought in, alongside other currencies from my holiday - and to come back in a few months when their systems would have updated

2nd visit, a year later - told me that the amount was too low for them to bother (!).

Dear Juan,
It was on the 19 Dec. 2022, around 5 pm to be more specific. The official FX rate on that day for GBP/EUR was 1.15. You offered a selling price 1.09 which already seemed concerning but I agreed to the transaction because I trusted the previous reviews (I thought most of the places would offer around the same). But then I went to the City and checked a few exchange services there. All of them were offering around 1.12-1.125, in particular the ones on Cannon Street and all the way to Ludgate Hill.
So basically I lost around £10 exchanging quite a small amount, which is a lot percentage wise.
So... NO. You do NOT provide competitive rates. And that 5 star rating was obviously deceiving.
