Excellent local book shop. Came in with my seven year old son and there was plenty for both of us. The owner was a very friendly chap and had a good knowledge of not only the boring history books I like but the books my son enjoys too. Will absolutely visit again.

Absolutely amazing bookshop! I stumbled across this website whilst looking for a book to buy for a late Christmas present and ended up buying multiple books for myself and a friend of mine. The prices are just amazing, I bought 3 books all in great condition for the price of £12 including postage. The fine detail of categories and ease of access of the website was impeccable. I would definitely recommend this.

Lovely to have a local second hand book shop and this one has a good selection and storage with more, so if you don't see what you want, ask or check the website. They also take part in book voucher scheme and sell great cards and wrapping paper.

More than a shop, this place is an institution. Run by real knowledgable enthusiasts, full of books you didn’t know you needed and beautiful cards. The basement has a great selection of mainly second hand records, CDs and cassettes - a great breadth of genres and not just the same names you see all over. There are some newer releases, always a good selection of reissues and Finders Keepers. The pricing is very generous too. The world needs more places like this.

I just wanted to thank you for such good service. The book I ordered online was written in 1976 by my friend and mentor, Atarah Ben Tovim who recently died. It's the story of her musical journey - until 1976 of course! When the book arrived at my house in France it had been packaged so carefully. It felt like I was unwrapping a treasure. Thank you so much.

Great little place packed with books ( not surprisingly) but also new and pre-loved vinyl records; which have labels stating their condition. The only thing is that my son spends all his money on the books and I now have a house that resembles this bookshop. 😁
