I am typing this from a hotel Rome. Today I wasted half the day trying to sort out a GoCity 5 attraction pass that had not been set up properly by Hays at Morpeth. When booking this, as recommended by Hays, we were told all we needed was to flash the QR code on the print off they provided, and we could get into a lot of the big attractions. We didn't entirely trust this and did book several attractions online using this pass. Now, in Rome, we find that Hays needed to send us a second QR code to go with the first..... which they hadn't, so our passes didn't work anywhere, and our bookings had been cancelled without notifying us. After wasting the entire morning, several taxi journeys, and missing attractions we believed we had booked, we finally resolved the situation thanks to the help of a lady at the Rome Touriststation (who actually had to telephone Hays and tell them what information they should have sent in the first place). We have managed to salvage something out of this mess, but we have missed the opportunity to see things we will not have the chance to now, our entire plans have been thrown out the window in effort to get some use out of this pass and we are now only going to get half the use out of it we intended. Overall, not a happy customer.

Update: Hays contacted us by phone a couple of days after we returned to say they were speaking to Gocity regarding our issues. It's been 4 weeks, and still no resolution or compensation for our trouble.

2nd Update: It is now 2 months later and I'm still waiting for a resolution to this.

3rd update: it is now nearly 5 months later, and this has still not been resolved.

4th update: Pretty much bang on 1 year later. This has still not been resolved.
