I love this place so much. I was into pastries so much, and pizza and breakfast are very good.
Lovely place to take my baby. He could walk and run around outside in the field. My boy and I were amazed by the view of long big trees 🌳

Delicious brunches! We visited twice whilst staying locally. The eggs Royale & florentine were delicious, served on Rosti 🤤 the smashed avocado was also yummy, and my husband loved his English breakfast. The outside area is lovely, and very dog friendly. Some great produce available to purchase in-store too, including some lovely craft beers 🍻

(visit week of Feb 3rd) Overall:

Cafe experience was poor, waiting staff mostly young, inexperienced and unconfident in customer communication - lacking basic waiting on training. Looking through the reviews, this (and slow service) is seemingly a long standing issue that has never been rectified. Such a shame as this place has great potential with all its other benefits!

Examples:

- Drinks were ordered before food but arrived more than halfway through eating. I had kindly asked / reminded a young waiter we had ordered coffees aswell when food arrived (by this point it had been ~15 mins since we ordered drinks) and I was told "oh drinks are just first come first serve" as she walked off. 1) Confusing response to my question, there wasn't any queue for takeaway drinks at this point and the cafe wasn't really that busy 2) Highlighting lack of customer service, she should have at least offered to go and check on them, or just ensure they weren't forgotten about etc. Drinks arrived another 10 mins ish after this interaction.
- Another waitress didn't ask if we were done with our plates (that still had food on them) before just coming straight in and silently taking them away. Again, surely basic waiting training to ALWAYS ask.
- Every interaction with staff members (in the cafe area) from being seated to paying was awkward and the lack of communication skills and training was evident.
- The quality of our lunch and the menu choices did not resemble the high quality products in the farm shop and it was definitely overpriced considering overall experience.

Positives:

- High quality, clearly well thought out interior and exterior design, with a consistent, on trend colour palette and theme (LOVE).
- The freshly baked croissants were amazing!
- The shop itself is very well stocked with a focus on organic, sustainable, local and health oriented products - some of my favourite brands made appearances!

Stopped for brunch en route to Anglesey
Gorgeous shop with lots of local options.
The food was excellent. We had the eggs Royale and the eggs Florentine. Absolutely genius idea serving them on a hash brown, so well seasoned and generous portions.
Coffee was lovely, as was the local IPA.
Will definitely be back and try to stay at the campsite as well next time.

We went here Thursday morning for breakfast, we have been many times before. Breakfast was just off £15, it used to come with homemade bake beans which were lovely. Our potatoe shredded hash brown was totally unedable, couldn't even cut with knife and fork. When I eventually caught the attention of the waitress, she didn't seem really bothered. Feel you should be asked if everything is OK with food.

Nice food, terrible service.
After 20 mins of waiting for our order to be taken, a table who had just been seated next to us had their order taken. I tried to order at the bar after waiting so long but was rudely told to wait until someone could come and take the order. We were then told there would be another half hour wait on food. It was over an hour since being seated when the food eventually arrived.
When we got the drinks, there was lipstick on one of the mugs and teaspoons were dirty.
Whilst the food was good, sadly won't be returning after this experience.
The price of items in the shop was astounding...£15 for a box of tea for example.
