Amazing cafe and crafts building in the old library. Lovely building great helpful friendly staff and great quality food and drinks in a lovely trendy cafe setting.

I'm new to Erith this place didn't pop up on Google as a cafe which I was looking for and I'm so pleased I found it.

Albeit perched up a flight of stairs on a Trinity Wharf Industrial Estate building there’s a sweeping vista of the Thames from the deck here.
“Lite bites” and some limited more substantial alternatives.
A selection of cakes and pastries with the coffee here certainly holding its “ground.”
Friendly service and a recommended pitstop on this section of a riverside walk heading towards London ( terminates here before continuing from The Thames Barrier. )

Terrible service on Saturday 23/11/24. Had a workshop booked for 2pm so decided to have lunch first. Discovered there was a Christmas market on too. Hoped to eat, look around market and do workshop. Ordering took a while and a stall holder came down to check when their jacket potato would be ready. They were told 10 mins so I decided to order a toastie that hopefully would be quicker. Only a couple of tables were occupied but it seemed the kitchen could not cope. Coffees came in good time and were fine. Stall holder
Returned again and eventually asked them to bring up her order as she had waited so long.
Waited 20/25 mins for breakfast bap and toastie which was not very filling. Plates were hot which suggested they had been ready for a while but sitting on a hot
Plate or similar. Cutlery was dirty - a crusty fork. Seemed to be poor communication between kitchen and front counter.
Would have been a good idea to write up the soup and stew of the day so I didn’t need to ask when being served. Also lots of items in the menu were not available. Maybe reprint menus if you’re not offering salads etc?
What a shame - hope this was a one off as would like to support this venue.

I can't give less than one star otherwise I would have given it, nice place, very nice garden but the breakfasts and the food that is sold is too poor you can risk serious stomach injuries due to the quality of the food the products are almost all frozen. Guys be careful especially those with allergies, I saw obscene things done.

A friend and I found this delightful cafe in this artists' worksop area whilst walking along the Thames path from Woolwich to Greenwich. Ate a very tasty burrito. Friendly and informative staff. Also clean loos, which is always a good sign of a well managed cafe.
