The Burra is probably the best place to stay in Shetland as you are fairly central, close to Lerwick, closer to Scalloway, but remote to relax. |Seals in the harbour are a delight. Lighthouse walk amazing. Advice from Elizabeth and Anthony for the Buura is first rate.|Close to Meal beach and Banna Minn beach which are beautiful.|Breakfast at The Glenn is wonderful and they accommodated an earlier breakfast to allow us to do the Noss boat trip!

I had a very enjoyable, peaceful stay at Glen B&B - Elizabeth & Anthony were very welcoming and considerate hosts. Breakfast was delicious. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The view from the accommodation is beautiful and there are lots of scenic walks nearby.

I recently stayed at Elizabeth B&B in The Glen, Shetland, and I had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and spacious, with a private bathroom. The location was perfect, just a short walk from a beautiful beach and a small shop. The breakfast was made with care and was delicious. Elizabeth and Antony, the hosts, were friendly and welcoming, and they made me feel like part of the family.

The Glen is in a a quiet village called Hamnavoe . It is only 4 miles from Scalloway, which has a few shops, a pharmacy, and some restaurants. It's also 10 miles from Lerwick, the Shetland capital. There is a good bus service in the area, so you don't need to hire a car if you don't want to.
Overall, I would highly recommend Elizabeth B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay in Shetland.

My husband and I, along with a friend, spent three nights at Glen B&B and only regret that we didn't stay longer. Even before we arrived, Elizabeth was assisting us with outside dinner bookings and helpful tips. She and her husband were incredibly kind and welcoming, and their breakfasts were first class! We felt as though we were part of the family. We live in Perth, Western Australia, on the opposite side of the planet, but we would dearly love to return to the Shetland and would, without question, go back to Glen B&B!

We stayed for three nights in late September and can happily confirm what the other guests say: Glen B&B is one of the best: so comfortable (had some of the best night’s sleeps here), spacious rooms with sparkling new bathrooms, well located with a short car ride to Lerwick and many other destinations, delicious breakfast, and absolutely lovely hosts. I warmly recommend and would be very happy to return here!

We loved staying at the Glen B&B in Hamnavoe. The owners made us very welcome and were knowledgeable and helpful in assisting our exploration of Shetland. The location on the west coast offered good access to other areas and islands, while at the same time being only about 20 minutes or less from Lerwick. The B&B itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated as well as being warm - a must in April when the weather is still cool. The breakfasts were great! We would certainly like to return and can thoroughly recommend.

Elizabeth and Anthony are amazing hosts, will aim to ensure your stay is wonderful and welcoming. Only 15mins from lerwick over a beautiful drive. Lots of walks in Hamnavoe and nearby beaches. Best rates in Shetland. Good honest people. Clean and tidy and fantastic range on offer for a good Scottish breakfast. Would recommend as the best place to stay for a warm,clean welcome.
