Our business recently received a call from GCP, and the experience was nothing short of a shambles. Their representatives bullied their way past our staff, falsely claiming to have an appointment with our Director just to get them on the phone. Once they answered, they admitted it was actually a sales call—completely dishonest and unprofessional behavior.

Deceiving staff to secure a conversation is a terrible business practice and raises serious concerns about their ethics. If you receive a call from GCP, be cautious. Any company that resorts to such misleading tactics should be avoided.

Have transferred money between UK and Portugal (and vice versa) using this company several times over the past 10 years. Every transfer has worked like clockwork until the last one. I had to constantly chase to see where my money was and it took 5 days to receive my money, from GC partners receiving it from my Solicitor in Portugal- in the past transfer has taken place on the same day as receipt and automated email notifications have been sent by GC Partners.
Naturally I was worried about the money and what had happened to it. I telephoned GC Partners several times over the week and was given a variety of reasons as to where my money was and when I would receive it.
I will not use them again; this is a stressful thing to do and not having confidence in what is happening makes it more so.

I had to transfer a substantial amount of money for the purchase of a property in Italy and was referred to Joe Cooke from a consultant we hired.
I was understandably nervous about sending that much money by wire to a company
I had never done business with, on top of that, the funds needed to reach my bank in Italy stat.

Joe not only walked me through the process, but he also made himself available whenever I needed updates (again, nervous) and was extremely professional and patient with me through it all.

The money arrived when he said it would, and were one step closer to owning our property in Italy 🙂

GC Partners is not really on the mind-map of the average expat, but I'll be sure to recommend the service to anyone needing to send money abroad at an extremely competitive rate and with great service from their account managers.

Cold called us a few times, lied to try to speak to the owner was rude on the phone. wouldn't use these people if they were the last currency company in the market.

The worst FX platform to transact on , our funds for over a month and we keep getting same response , compliance looking into the matter and MLRO is on lunch and compliance is on break and new compliance and all this , will be taking legal action now
