Worst ever . Think the chips were frozen chips . Man behind counter couldn't care less, it was a struggle for him serve. Haggis was overcooked and tasteless . Years ago this was the best chippie in the area. Shame , obviously changed hands Go to golspie instead

We ordered a chicken nugget supper and a large fish supper with curry sauce.
The chicken nuggets were fresh and made with real chicken not processed which was nice. The chips were tasteless and the curry sauce was sweet. The fish had a few bones and smelled awful. Overall I would only recommend the nuggets. Don’t waste money on the chips.

Worst chipper ever asked for large chips with salt and vinegar - £4.49 for large chips.

I don't know how they aren't embarrassed to serve a tray that was 1/2 to 3/4 filled as a large?

Don't bother buying I couldn't taste any salt or vinegar and chips were not very nice soft and luke warm at best.

Bought to share with the kids and they had a couple and didn't even want to eat them.

Overall just made me angry at being ripped off

Went in last minute for some dinner met the lovely woman Tracey that works there. She made us two fresh sausage suppers and it was one of the best sausage suppers I have had. 10/10

Recently renamed from Grannies fish and chips. Great food & friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit if you're staying on the campsite or in the area.

What a let down, was really looking forward to the fish and chips but have to agree this was the worst we've had. The chips are frozen shop bought and the fish was soo thin and overdone was difficult to eat. The food had no flavour at all the only positive is the staff member was pleasant and the chippy itself was new and really clean.

Genuinely the worst chips I've ever had in my life. So soggy and tasteless - they went straight in the bin. And the tiniest portion too, so unbelievably overpriced and disappointing. If you have the means to, definitely drive further for fish and chips. I don't understand how you can get chips so wrong. Mushy peas were awful too, but at least edible. There are much better fish and chips places around, this is not the one.

Worst chippy I've ever been to very disappointed. Dry frozen chips and ultra thin inedible fish even my french buldog refused to eat (and he eats anything). I would definitely not recommend or ever purchase again. Family left hungry and food in the bin, please do yourself a favour don't go.
