They used to be one of the better exchange rate places, BUT not any more!!! I am sure you saw Honest Guide pointing you to this Exchange Place. Their rate used to be very competitive but not anymore. Still, they offer decent exchange rate (tad bit more 3.377% than credit card's 3%). They offer 2170 crowns for $100 bills !!! As of September 18th of 2024, the actual exchange rate is 22.55 crowns per $1. For $100, that would be 2,255 crowns. That is 3.377 %. You are better off using a credit card, which charges 3%. Or better yet, go to Kaprova 11, Exchange place if you need cash. They offered 2,210 crowns for every $100. That is 40 crowns more for your every $100 bills (and you do not have to exchange $100 bills). If you exchange $500 then, you basically get a free meal in Prague (200 Crowns) to make your math simpler.

If you are already in Prague and need a fair exchange of currency, this is the place to go. The hours are decent and the exchange rate is clear. The location is perfect, and you feel safe dealing with money in the area.

Being a tourist in Prague, 98% of your activities can be done with a credit card, so it is not super necessary to get Czech crowns. We had a private tour at the Strahov library, and it required in-person cash payment, but that is an exception. Also, Euros are relatively accepted in cash-only moments on your trip with street vendors.

This place was highly recommended so I got some Euros converted here. No commission. Conveniently located near the Old Town Square.
In hindsight, I didn’t need any CZK cash as credit card is widely accepted everywhere in Prague.

Good place to exchange your money to Czech Koruna. They don't take any commission. Service is fast and reliable. I exchanged my Euros with them for CZK during my recent visit to Prague. Highly recommended.

I went to the correct address and indeed the best rate on the market. If you want to changed over 10k USD. I recommend to first negotiate the rates at the cashier.

You will not find a better exchange office in Prague - facted checked they have the best exchange rates in the city and no fees of course (and automatic VIP rates offered when converting bigger amounts is appreciated). Open on weekends, friendly staff, communication in Czech and English, a lot of currencies for conversion… In Prague there are a lot of exchange offices that are a nasty tourist trap - watch out on those and go instead to fair places as this one is.

Great exchange house close to the old town attractions. Good price to exchange from EUR to CZK. And most importantly trustworthy, as opposed to the ATMs you can find during your walks

DO NOT change money here! They used to offer best exchange rates but now offer a HUGE spread.

Go to their office in Štefánikova 203/23 instead to get a fair exchange rate.
