Very rude member of staff on the till this morning. I called prior to coming to check if the store had a particular currency in and was categorically told they did and that there would be enough left. On arriving there, the lady at the till said they didn’t have any. When I questioned what I had been told on the phone, she became very rude and said that I wasn’t a top priority, and that there’s no guarantee it will still be in stock when I arrive even after calling up and it’s first come first service. I understand this, however all I had said to her was that I was told over the phone there would be, and she had a very aggressive tone towards me. Definitely not great customer service, and I will not be returning. I got the currency from the Sainsbury’s travel bank in leamington spa, where the staff greeted me with a smile and nothing was a problem for them. Would definitely recommend going there over the euro currency!

Picked up some Euros today (Tues 23 May) on spec from the Leamington branch - had delightful very helpful service from an amazing smiley and lovely assistant. She was an absolute delight. She also let me know about a travel money card and about the boomerang offer should we have currency left over.

Such a change to be served properly and I will definitely use again.

Had $500 to change and looked on line to find they offered £366. Drove 12 miles to Leamington and gave them the $500. Got home and found I only had £336 so phoned to ask why? Was told rate was only £366 if booked on line and then collected. Suggested that this was tantamount to con trick and was told they would refund difference if I returned to Leamington. So, drove 12 miles back to Leamington but instead of accepting refund took $500 back and went to CASH BROKERS on Parade who gave me £375 there and than.
Was it JESUS who threw the money changers out of the Priors, sorry I mean Temple?
