I was treated like a criminal, the guy who served me started asking a lot of questions of a rather personal nature, then he called my hotel asking if I really stayed there. I'm not sure if this complies with current privacy laws...
I had nothing to hide and answered all questions, they just took me a lot of time for a simple transaction and I felt treated like a criminal. And don't tell me that your operators have to verify the data because this playing to be a cop" attitude is quite another thing, nor that everyone receives the same treatment because a couple who arrived after me was served without many questions and in 5 minutes had finished the whole procedure. I've traveled all over the world and I've exchanged many currencies, but this has never, ever happened to me.
