This was very enjoyable, even for me, who is more interested in gardening. There were lots of facilities and the cafes were not too bad. The prices weren't crazy.

The history was very interesting. The volunteers were amazing, helpful and very informative. It's an excellent day out.
We went on a Thursday when the Christmas school holidays were still on, so it was busy.

Outstanding visit as always and the best airshow I've been to there in 30 years. So much to see and do - plenty for all ages. Always an exciting venue, even on days when nothing is flying. I have spent many a day enjoying all that the airfield has to offer and look forward to my visit every time. A definite gem of a museum and well worth a visit.

Amazing day out at the Duxford Imperial War Museum . A terrific event for all the family. Fairground rides included on air display days. With plenty of food and drink outlets there’s an option for everyone. On special days there are lots of stalls selling amazing artwork, models memorabilia and souvenirs. Fantastic.

This place is amazing. Not the cheapest to get into. But its well worth it. There are a massive number of planes and military vehicles to see as well as the American museum as well. This will take a good 3 to 4 hours to walk round. Plus on a weekend there are always planes taking off and landing. Spitfire, Hurricane, B-17, Hawker Tempest. Amongst others. The cafe is not the cheapest place and there always seems to be a queue. My advice try the cafe after hanger 4. Seemed less busy. And when you have finished there is a minibus that drops you back at the main entrance. Pick this up outside the Land and Tank building. Highly recommend.

I have visited here 3 times and every time I see something new. I absolutely love it. It is perfect for all ages. No matter how busy it is you do not feel rushed when looking at things. The is a concorde plain that you can walk through. All different military vehicles that you can get close to. There are different massive huts with various exhibitions and smaller huts with information. You are able to take pleasure flights for £49. You can also watch Spitfires and other planes take off. Fantastic day out.

A great day out with so much to see! A group of us visited on a standard Saturday only to find Spitfires. Hurricanes, a Tempest and B17 plus an ME109 flying off to do displays elsewhere or just practising. The American Air force museum is very modern but the rest of the hangars reeked of history and events of the past. There seemed to be plenty to keep young kids interested and entertained too. We also enjoyed lunch and drinks before wandering along the flight line and exhibits.
Well worth the day and travel!

This is a must visit for all aviation fans! Allow a full day and wear good walking shoes! There is a lot of walking if you want to see everything. Light aircraft fly in all day including the twin seat Spitfire which costs £2700 for half an hour! A real highlight for us was the Op's room tucked around the back where they bring a German bombing raid to life with real recordings around the ops table. So much to see and experience. Just go,you won.t be disappointed.
