Excellent experience! Will remember and cherish it for the rest of my life. Purchased a 60 minute air experience in a 4 seater Cessna 172 a few weeks ago. Dave was an excellent instructor and pilot and made the experience amazing. Dave took off from Dunkeswell and once we gained enough altitude, it was over to me to fly. Was nervous at first but that eased and we flew down the coast towards Weymouth. The weather was glorious so made for some excellent videos and photos from family in the back. Landed back at Dunkeswell after an hour and was issued a certificate for the experience. The first hour counted towards my private pilot license if I wished to pursue it. It was my first time being in an aeroplane, and I was so lucky that my first time flying was with me at the yoke. DSFT were very good at communicating via e-mail before the experience and I wouldn't hesitate to do this again. If you're thinking about having a flight experience, do it, trust me, you won't regret it!

Very well run and relaxed at the same time. The instructor Nigel was very good. Grandson loved it.

Absolutely brilliant! Went up on an air experience flight (land away), although of course it’s expensive, for me it was worth every penny! With some great instruction I flew hands on almost 95% of the time, even more than promised I’d say! And land away is great as when we sat down for a cup of tea, at a beautiful airfield (we went to Compton Abbas) the instructor talked me through what he wanted me to do on the way back, leading to even more hands on experience! Overall 10/10, totally set on doing my PPL and investing the money into this friendly family like Flight school.

Really great taster flying experience with Rob our pilot. We got to fly over our property and down to the coast. Really interesting to see familiar places from another perspective.

I can’t comment on the flight training, however the airfield is a great place to sit, have a drink and watch the planes landing and taking off as well as parachutists dropping in out of the clouds. The airfield provides really easy and up close views of the planes from the outdoor seating area. The coffee shop has a good range of food and drink, and there’s plenty of free parking. So if you’re a plane enthusiast then it is certainly worth a visit or stop off whilst riding round on a bike.

Absolutely fab. I thought I'd be petrified but Chris was calming, patient and fun! Looking forward to my turn as pilot! Beautiful day too.

Jumped out of plane @15,000 ft. Could see both coast lines. Staff were perfect. Preped us well & attached themselves with special suits. Biggest thrill ever! They also do "wing walking"for those brave souls.
