DO NOT use this company! They have refused to give a refund for a cancelled event. The initial contact was with a gentleman who was extremely rude, derogatory and offensive. I have since tried to email on several occasions as to avoid dealing with this man on the telephone, however I have been ignored since. Thankfully I have sought legal advice and this has been taken further and been assured I will win this case, but please do not make the same mistake and support this business. Looking at the other reviews, they have stolen money from customers for years!

What a miserable store, lost some vouchers given to me and then found. Whilst being several months past the expiry date, the store (owner) refused to honour any part. Such a surprise to find some one so mean spirited. Not only does he choose the minimum allowable time for expiry he gave me some twaddle about it being all to do with his accountant. Stupid man, its down to you wanting to keep the £90 for yourself. In an age where we all try and support local you are the one exception where I will encourage people not to, where I have encouraged people in the past and was intending on spending well over the voucher amount today. Well done for your excellent customer relations, maybe you should change your store name to “Ebenezer records”!

Bought tickets online to collect in store but the email with the order wouldn’t open, went in store for some help & old guy on counter was so rude and unhelpful basically told me it’s not his tech at fault it’s mine - not that I care either way I just wanted a solution - he was unwilling to check if my order had gone through or anything said my email would be resent on Monday but didn’t ask for my email address! Spoke to me like I’d shat on the floor not spent £50 shocking attitude.

Very happy with my purchases from Derrick's! Staff were very helpful when I had a question. There was a slight mark on the Misplaced Childhood CD Album I bought which I didn't notice until I was home but doesn't bother me as only small. Prices around the same as HMV - some cheaper and some more expensive but only a couple of quid each way.

Staff were very helpful when myself and friends queried about a magnum album. The staff were happy to help by searching online and were telling us the prices. I left there happy and with a Pink Floyd vinyl, super happy! When I'm next in Wales I would be happy to visit the shop again 🙂

Very disappointing service and they didn't even refund the full amount after the event was cancelled. Highly recommend you avoid using this company to book events as they just wash their hands and move on, leaving customers to suffer financial loss that is supposedly written into the small-print of their Ts&Cs

BEWARE DO NOT BUY CONCERT TICKETS FROM HERE!!!
Absolutely shocking customer care and shambles of a business!

My husband bought tickets for a concert, went into collect them and was told by the owner Chris that the ticket weren't ready. He bought these as an anniversary gift at Christmas time so I was super excited to be going to see Gregory Porter in the summer. The booking paperwork with date of the concert was written on by hand by the owner Chris was incorrect. So even though he went to the store to collect the tickets before the said concert he was advised they weren't ready. We were absolutely fuming to discover that the owner had got the date wrong and my husband was told on returning to the store that there was nothing he could do. He wouldn't accept any responsibility and just told him that Live Nation wouldn't do anything about it. No wonder record shops are going under if all customers are treated like this!!!!

My husband is massive records fan and he won't spend another penny in that shop again! No refund, no apology, nothing!
