I took in a CD to mail to The US. I was served by Owen. I asked to send my package via the cheapest method (I suggested surface mail). He said the cheapest would be £12. I queried this because I knew it should cost less than £10.
At this point Owen stormed off saying I was rude leaving me standing at the counter.
Eventually 2 women appeared to help me and they said my package would cost £8 to send. By this time there were about 8 customers behind me waiting to be served.
So, to sum up, this chap Owen had tried to charge me 50% over the going rate. So he's either incompetent or dishonest. It makes me wonder how many people have been over charged by him.

It's part of the large co op store in Denmead but has its own separate area and queue next to the main tills. Never had any issues but as a small post office services are limited. Great for paying in and withdrawing cash to your Bank Account, collecting Amazon parcels, returning Amazon parcels and once I even bought some stamps from them. One other thing of note is the air conditioning in the co op is always cracked up to the max (well worth checking out in the middle of a heat wave).

Find another Post Office. Opening hours are clearly till 10pm. Walked in at 5pm to be told "were closed" No sorry, explanation or anything. When questioned I'm simply told the listing is wrong. Its blatantly obvious this post office exists purely because it has to, not because they want to offer the service. What used to be a really nice little post office is a waste of space now.

3 times in the last year I've tried to use this postoffice during their opening hours to no avail. Only 2 of those times have they had a sign on the door saying that the have closed early or opening late. Either way very disappointed that they have not been open when I've tried to use their services. Also almost always have a massive queue. Clearly they need more staff or need to re-publise their opening hours online to reflect their staffing issues. Grossly disappointed with this branch

You cannot rely on what the website says regarding opening times, it’s pot luck since the Post Office moved over into the larger Co-op but on a positive note we do have a Post Office in the village.

Google has mixed up the TWO Co-Op stores. The Post office store is closed.
The main store opposite PO76NU has a limited service ( no road tax, vehicle licenses or passports)
