This currency exchange place is the worst location to go to he says he has the currency then wastes your time once you arrive to say he doesn’t have it. Twice in a row, he is extremely disrespectful and doesn’t care about other people’s time except his own when they are coming to his location. Don’t waste your time coming to his location. It’s not worth it and he takes it like a joke.

To his response: I did call and said it twice you didn’t give me a direct answer then tried saying you heard polish currency which is a lie when I showed up. Don’t try and save your reputation cause you messed up twice and both times calls were made and you were notified I was coming.

Nice and easy transaction, only one of few places that open till 7pm. The rates were a lot better than the airport rates without the fees included. Eg. airport wanted $1.18 + $5 fee, while at Charlie’s I exchange usd to Canadian dollars for $1.32 = winning 🙂

The reception was incredibly kind and helpful. I only have two days here in Vancouver, but this person provided a wonderful overview of how newcomers are treated in this city.

The rate is pretty good and the owner is nice. Because I was travelling to a country which only take US dollar bills in good condition, the owner has no problem to help me out with that. Highly recommended.

I don’t suggest working with these guys , they rip people off when buying gold or silver from u! Plus they steal other local business names.
