Bought a Mokka from Gordon in March 2024. Took my 11 year old son with me who is severely autistic and non verbal and explained that safety and reliability is crucial and that I needed a car that is in good condition. The moral of the story in a nutshell is: NEVER trust a salesman. They took 6 weeks to repair the engine that broke down within a week of me buying the car. The brakes were also worn and two tyres were close to their legal limit. Then I had the car back for a couple of days when the clutch failed. They refused to do the repairs but my car finance company covered the cost of the repairs as they stood by me and supported my claim that I have been sold a car not fit for purpose. I absolutely do NOT recommend this car dealership because they are dishonest and calculated.

Please Note: A “courtesy car”was offered, however I was expected to pay a hire cost for this “service “ out of my own pocket.

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Zafira and I am very impressed with the quality of the service provided from start to finish. The car is a wonderful example, well maintained and good spec.

I am particularly impressed with the after sales support. I identified that the air conditioning was not working correctly and required a replacement compressor 2-3 weeks into ownership. Jonathan quickly booked this in for repair at no cost to myself.

I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from these guys again in the future.

I never review until I’m satisfied, so I would like to give this car dealership five stars. Gordon and Jonathan’s service and experience when selling me my car was superb. I’ve owned my lovely Honda Jazz for three months now and although I appreciated I was buying an older car, they did everything they could to get a couple of small issues sorted out for me. Check your vehicle very, very carefully. I bought a car that had some faults that should have been noted. Electric windows not working, etc. They did get my car fixed, mostly, but it took 3 months between buying it and getting it repaired. The stop start feature still doesn't work and they haven't contacted me to check if all is okay.

If there was an option for 6 stars I would not hesitate to award it. Gordon and Jonathan have gone above and beyond to ensure this has been a smooth process. The car has had a couple of teething issues, as is often the case with older cars, and they have been very efficient and helpful at every stage - even coming to my house to pick the car up when I was stuck. If only all car dealers could work in this way. Many thanks to Car Sales Rotherfield.
