Backed by trees, overlooking the lake and hills, the woodland cabin was just perfect. We had a private bathroom a few minutes from the cabin, use of a kitchen with microwave fridge, and kettle, which was clean and tidy, and a large outside area with veranda, decking and stone fire pit. Sarah was so friendly and we felt very welcome. There is an small but well stocked family run Costcutters in the village just 5 minutes drive away, excellent Mountain biking at Coed y Brenin forest park 10 minutes away and so many more easily accessible activities and places to visit that my Son has already decided we will be returning as soon as we can.

Amazing campsite with friendly staff. Very easy booking in process.very reasonable prices. Toilets spotless. Great bothy type set up with loads of amenities. Very relaxed site altogether.

I camped here for 5 nights at the back end of August / early September, with my son and fiace joining me for the weekend. It rained a lot. We got wet and still enjoyed the place hugely - that's why I keep returning.|Mainly a tenting site but one or two converted transits too - no caravans! A couple of cabins and a lakeside cottage are also available available but I have no direct knowlwdge of these. Wonderful views across the lake and very quiet. Always some wildlife about (this year low-flying Swallows and a hare at 4 metres distance). Not near shops/pub/main road etc. but to me that's a positive. Cae Adda is managed by the friendly and efficient Sarah.|Good clean facilities including a "campers' kitchen" with fridges, microwave and kettle. Camp fires OK and a picnic table by each pitch very useful.

We, my son and I, stayed in the Woodland hut. It was great. It was warm, dry and spacious. With a covered porch. It has a lovely view of the lake. The nearby private shower/toilet was modern clean and warm - 2-3 mins walk. I could park my car next to the hut. It rained from when we arrived to an hour after I left. We stayed dry. My son was gravel biking from Machynlleth to Conwy and this was the mid point. If we had been in tents we would have been soaked.

Stayed for a last minute camp trip due to great weather. Lovely quiet campsite with a great view over the lake.
The owner is always super helpful and always available if you need anything.
As always the toilets and facilities are absolutely spotless!

It was colder overnight than we anticipated (despite a mini heatwave!), we decided to upgrade our stay to the Lakeside cabin and it was absolutely lovely, made a great stay into a fantastic one, cant recommend enough!

Quiet and clean campsite. Large pitch areas with fire pits and picnic benches. Toilets and showers good quality and clean. Very friendly people as well.

Fantastic campsite. Peaceful, great location .showers and toilets very clean and a useful kitchen room . Great walk from the campsite around the reservoir. Close to the rhinogs mountains. My second visit and it definitely won't be the last ! Very friendly owners to .

A last minute on the way home decision in our campervan and it was such a good idea! This place is lovley and quaint the views were so pretty and you felt like you were getting a wild camp feeling as the staff were super chilled and friendly on arrival. We would 100% stay here again if we are in this area. Toilets/washing up amenities were clean and functional too!
