A lovely store with great staff, i asked if my daughter can have some samples, and they did a full taster for her.
It was so lovely i bought some lipgloss for her. My only regret is i did not get their names for this post

I am a shopper who does not know and understand English, I bought about 12 masks and many other skin care products. I paid at the vending machine, they needed a staff code, I asked the staff to help me and a lady "I assume Indian" came with a face code which I found annoying and somewhat unwanted. She is very bad . She spoke broken English, raised her voice at me and I did not understand what she said. It must be the attitud a staff towards her customers 👎👎👎👎

Awful experience today ( with the pharmacy section)
Stood a while to wait for someone to serve me so that I could get a bottle of children's antihistamine and the pharmacist came over from the " prescription only" til and looked at me in disgust ( I was holding a number 7 product in my hand that I'd already picked up) I asked if I was in the right place to get antihistamine for children and he looked at my bottle of no7 suncream and said " not if you want to pay for that here" I said I was happy to pay for it at the self service til if it was an issue to put 2 things through the til instead of 1. He then without speaking to me at all put the antihistamine through and then slammed my receipt on the counter and walked away without a word. No idea what my face did to offend him, or who caused him to be in such a foul mood but it'll be the last time I go in there now. I was actually happy to use the self checkout for my suncream, at least that didn't glare at me 🤣

Which bright spark redesigned the store. New tills are all self serve could only find one that took cash. All tucked away in tight corners no space to use properly, only gave 2 stars because of helpful patient lady being moaned at by people otherwise nil. Will be using Superdrug in future

I live in Louth where we have two branches of Boots. Whenever I go to my local stores, there's always someone behind the counter serving the public. Every time I've used this branch, which we do when visiting my mother in law, we're kept waiting at an empty counter. The last time we were there, the person dispensing prescriptions was having to jostle between the two posts in order to attend to waiting customers.
We've also encountered problems using the self checkouts in the past. More staff please Mr James.

OUT OF DATE COVID TESTING KITS !!!!!Our son was ill and thought it made Covid again. He works in a retail environment, thus his employer needs to see evidence of Covid. My wife promptly went to Boots in Loughborough and brought a Covid test kit. When used we spotted it was a month out of date ! ( we trusted Boots )
Went back very unhappy and was told the Manager had gone home nobody else could help. Then the staff said " I suppose you want your money back? " and promptly took the kit back. Staff where asked if they checked the dates on products they sell to be told " well we do check the sandwiches " SANDWICHES !
Would you ever want important medication from this chemist? I would be amazed if I get a response from Boots. Stay clear.

PS I know a great place to buy in date a in Sandwich...

I just wanted to say how lovely Kym is who works at Loughborough Boots.
Each and everytime I go into the store by myself or with individuals I support Kym is always smiling ,friendly chatty and very approachable.
I attempted to use the new self checkout machines didn't get off to a great start without any hesitation Kym began helping me nothing was to much trouble.
Boots you are a very lucky company to have such a loyal hardworking individual as an employee, carry on doing what your doing Kym your doing a super job you brighten up mine and my clients day so much .
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to talk to us it means alot .
