I used to go to Chants Ave post office but the man in charge is arrogant and rude so I will never go there again. The people in the Beetonsvile post office are so nice, friendly and helpful and I will be using this post office in future.

Perhaps I am not the most unbiased customer out there as I have been a loyal customer with Beetonsville Anlaby Road PO since 2003/4, but I find that their services are more than acceptable for most of your simple, ordinary, everyday postal needs!

I use it as its my local post office, but if I can use another I will do as service as this post office is tolerable at best.

The blonde lady who works there makes out like everything is a herculean task and it's clear she resents customers doing anything but buying stamps. I have used the drop and go system with her and she refused the put the post office stamp on the proof of postage as "shes never done it before"

The older man doesn't seem to understand the amazon scan and print label system and refuses to handle them.

“I am the boss” that is what Steward told me! Very unprofessional business owner.

Went there at 15:38 where the actual opening hours was till 16:00 during this climate as it understandable..

But Steward refuses to have me in to send my prepaid envelopes!

Steward giving reasons that he was dealing with cash machine as it had an issue with it.

Due to security reasons Steward can not have anyone in Post office!

Strangely this gentleman who booked for posting his parcel! So there is no security reasons for him!?

I felt there is still business owners who take action on double standards...

I am not happy what Steward did and I felt Royal Mail should not lost any reputation business owners like Steward.

Went in to get two first class stamps at £1.01 each gave the guy a fiver which should be £2.98 change but got the changed of £2.80 i questioned him about it and he still did not clicked that he short changed me. Will not be using this post office again if a member of staff cant do their sums properly. In other jobs this would be classed as fraud or theft. People be aware of your change from the guy.

Not really one star. I am from Hedon and my mum in law is in hospital. I needed to wash a large quilt after an accident this pm, which obviously I cannot do at home. So i dropped hubby off at HRI and came to launderette near thus post office. I went for change and they would not give me any. They said it is a pain and they won't do it anymore. I explained my predicament to her but the reply was a definite NO. If we do it for you we have to do it for everyone. There was no one else is in the shop at the time. I hope that when something not nice happens and you are trying your best to do everything at once the lady may encounter more generous and kind response to the one I received.
