Was paying monthly for Aviva travel insurance for a few years through Barclays Went in today to the Barclays in Colchester to see exactly what our travel insurance covered , we were seen by Nathan he was very pleasant, and helped us download the app on our phone to use services at the airport, at one time I didn’t understand and he explained again. Also we have blue reward for sometime now, and never use the Apple TV he also guided my husband through the set up , he is what customers service is all about, also the other staff always friendly and helpful .

I came in today to try and open an executors account (my Mum passed 4 days ago) as soon as I asked the question I broke down which I wasn’t expecting. A wonderful lady named Saveena got me sat down and sat with me comforting me and calmly taking me through the process I needed to follow including writing it in my note book for me. The level of compassionate she showed me will stay with me, this lady is an asset to your company and to the world. I hope she sees this Saveena you are so lovely.

This bank has been very good to me and needed anything I seem to always get it. I wish they are banking hours were longer and I wish there was more tellers as I like the personal service and I’ll find unless you get there very early. There’s always a queue but I’ve never had a problem with the service. The lady at the till with short blonde hair is excellent. Her name escapes me.
Lisa The manager is always helpful she goes out of her way to help people.

We went to move our Joint accounts from Metro Bank to Barclays , didn’t know that we have to open accounts first and than wait for the merger and after that moving account process will start. But

Successfully waisted 1 hour and 30 mins because your app still says we have no current bank account with Barclays which we went to opened at first place , i can see current bank account is opened but can’t process for moving our account , and just to let you know this store in Colchester is heavily short of staff So thank your we’ll stay with the old bank at-least everything is running. 🙏🏼

After not being able to book an appointment to open my children a bank account online we decided to go into the branch. We had about a ten minute wait to be told the nearest appointment would be nearly two months away. There was a large queue and only three members of staff and a few disgruntled customers. I thought it would be easier to use Barclays to open children's accounts given that me and my husband bank there but I was very wrong. We walked up the road to Metro bank and opened the accounts there and then no appointment needed and we even got their debit cards the same day.
