This is a pretty standard mid-size Asda. Not one of the biggest or best but a decent range of stuff.

The outside is really a bit tatty, with lots of additions added over the years cluttering the approach - a few concessions, a Subway, a Starbucks, places to fill your bags with online shopping and a derelict pub - overall not inviting. More pride in your appearance Asda…

There used to be a cafe, but it has closed and been replaced by more shop.

Staff are friendly and efficient here and the tills are very quick. Shelves well stocked.

Curious arrangement of food - things grouped by ‘like’ not ‘type’ so all types of mince together, for example, rather than with its corresponding animal of origin. Different.

Overall average shopping experience. Locally, I do prefer the new Lidl over the road to this Asda. It has those mini basket trolleys and feels calmer.

Wow, what is going on! it's a year since my last visit and things have changed. Just had a terrible shopping experience. Stock like lemonade not available, prices are way to expensive. For example; £1.70 for a tin of soup or 5 for £5, pushing you to buy 5. Only 2 tills open but about 25 self service tills. What is going on? Waited for a while with a trolly full of food, cost an absolute bomb, back to my regular store I guess. No parking issues, clean store, friendly staff.

What’s going on here, shelve bare marked out of stock, pizza counter never seems to have garlic butter for my pizza base, bring back fish counter more productive than the sushi counter as nearly every week it’s cabinet of oops is full of it, may need to start shopping at Lidl or Aldi

Monday the 23rd December Asda at Clayton Brook and I arrive at 7:00. A quick wizz around the store and I have been queuing for 15 minutes and I'm still waiting for my checkout space . Only two tills operating already loads of people qeueing and they can't get any more staff on the other tills as there's no one due on till until 8:00. Really Asda you've got this wrong two days before Christmas.

Never have what i go for. 4pt skimmed milk is often out of stock. Where are the shitake and oyster mushrooms?
Staff do not restock scan & go scanners. No fishmonger, butcher or deli counters just limited pre packed and often dated cold shelves.Hint Asda I like a kipper for my breakfast.
Fuel more expensive that EG filling stations.

If there is nowhere else to shop, and you can't make, manufacturer or grow it yourself... and you won't do without.... and you won't be dissuaded otherwise, then this ASDA is the best ASDA in Clayton Green.
In every other conceivable way it is a dreadful experience and barely staffed

Came here to do a click and collect order, pressed the buzzer 25 times, no answer, Asda support are useless you'll spend 10 minutes listening to the options. Overall shockingly bad and a waste of my time.

The shelves in this store, particular the meat isle need a damn good clean. Has the environmental health not been around lately as I think they ought to. Lots of out of date pies and other fresh items, some way out, so people check your dates. Lots of empty shelves, which might be a good thing for ones health. The new fridges look 20 years old already and have had missing doors for months. Lots of people at the self checkouts with red lights flashing, whilst the staff are all having a good old chat amongst themselves. Won't be going again.
