Outstanding fish! You won't taste better - the smokies are legendary and salmon will never taste the same again after here. Campbell is an amazingly kind, patient host and a pleasure to chat to. We're lucky being able to experience such a traditional process in this country!

The world famous Arbroath smokies, this is the only place to get them, but don’t forget to try the hot smoked salmon which is just off the scale.

I am just so happy that I found samphire in Scotland. I am from Turkey's west coast and my grandma used to cook it with garlic olive oil and lemon it is a great meze and beloved green. I also loved the smoked salmon pate its great with wine and a good bread <3 And the people at tha stage was supper welcoming and friendly !!!
