I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Anne’s Cottage Wetsuit & Surf in Polzeath! The selection there was top-notch — they had a super cool wood effect SUP which was a good price coming with a paddle. What really made the visit exceptional, though, was the incredibly helpful and friendly staff. They went above and beyond with lots of advice. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and know their stuff. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone visiting the area — whether you're a seasoned surfer dude or just getting started, this is the place to go in Polzeath! Just say Hi to Mollie.

Don’t park in Ann’s cottage car park! The company employed to run it are crooks and scammers. My daughter wanted to get a new wetsuit , so visited the shop at polzeath, the car park was busy so took a few minutes to find a space, then paid for 3 hours parking £5.80. Two weeks later she got a parking fine demanding £100 or £60 if paid in 14 days because she entered the car park 8mins before she bought at ticket, so over stayed.
Ann’s Cottage don’t give a toss even though she spent £240 in their shop. Do yourself a favour park in the council car park on the beach. And don’t give your money to Ann’s cottage or Allince Parking the are absolute crooks and con artists!

Ann’s Cottage knowingly allows Alliance Parking to run one of the most aggressive, unethical car parks in Polzeath. Families stopping for a few minutes are stung with £100+ charges, while Ann’s Cottage hides behind “we don’t manage it” — despite apparently being the landowners who profit from it. It’s a cynical cash grab that ruins holidays and tarnishes their reputation. What a shame.

Currently staying in Polzeath and decided I wanted to buy a wetsuit. Went to Ann’s Cottage where I was warmly welcomed and the help and advice I received was second to none. As I was new to it all, the guys went out of there way to help me choose the correct wetsuit for me and guided me on size and fitting etc. absolutely delightful service and I will definately be returning! Thanks guys!

Normally love to visit Anns cottage whilst we are away on holiday however had a bit of a petty experience at the store in polzeath. We had an empty coffee cup which we carried into the shop with us as there were no bins near the shops or carpark and wanted to have a bit of a shop before heading to the beach. Got told straight away to leave it on the counter (fair enough) however we informed them it was empty and please can we put it in the bin we spotted behind the counter. Answer was no and we could collect it afterwards to take to far end of the beach. Wouldn’t really be too much effort for them to have put it in the bin considering we were planning on giving them our custom but hey ho. Bude is a much nicer store and recommend going there!

The car park isn't. It's set up to issue you a fine, even if you drive in and out.
